We have one space still available in the Intro/Prelim and 60cm group, starting at 10:00, at our 'Introduction to Combined Training' clinic on Sunday 4 October.

We have also added an extra group, starting at 09:00, which will be Intro/Prelim level for flatwork and poles working towards small jumps for the SJ session.

Entries are now open for our Hunter Trial on Sunday 11 October! 🥳🐴

We will be running classes at 60cm, 70cm, and 80cm for individuals and pairs.

We are keeping the XC course open for hire at weekends throughout September, so why not pop over for a practice run before the event! Bookings for hire can also be made on Equo.

We are excited to get going with our weekend events again and will be kicking off with double show jumping next week! 😃🐴 We will be running Clear Round (20cm-90cm) on Saturday 12 September and Unaffiliated SJ (50cm-1.00m) on Sunday 13 September.

Both events will be run in the outdoor arena (weather permitting). Entries are open online via Equo Events until midnight on Wednesday 9 September. Unaffiliated classes are split into horse and pony sections.

We have two Combined Training days coming up in the next few months! 😃🐴

On Sunday 4 October, we will be running ‘An introduction to Combined Training’ sessions with Gilly Wheeler and Felicity Steel. This will be the perfect opportunity to hone your skills and build confidence in dressage and show jumping in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you are hoping to start competing at Combined Training events in the future, or just looking to improve in both disciplines in general! We will be offering two sessions – Intro/Prelim & 60cm and Prelim & 70cm – with the opportunity of adding an extra if there is demand.

For more experienced combinations, we will be running Combined Training sessions with Gilly Wheeler and Jo Rimmer on Sunday 1 November. Groups will be as follows:

✨ Prelim/Novice & 70cm-80cm
✨ Novice & 80cm-90cm
✨ Novice/Elementary & 90cm-1.00m

We’re very pleased to be welcoming back Andrew Harris for two more SJ clinic dates here at Kingston Maurward! 😃🐴 This is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your riding, tune up your horse, and learn from a true expert in a fun, supportive environment.

Group sessions (max 4 riders) focusing on:
• Developing better technique in both horse and rider
• Building a stronger, more trusting partnership
• Using gridwork and related distances to improve rhythm, balance, and control
• Gaining confidence to tackle bigger, more progressive fences
• Expert guidance to help you ride with clarity, feel, and purpose

On each date there will be a 60cm session at 18:00 and a 70cm session at 19:00.

Our popular polework / small jump lessons are returning! 😃🐴

This term we are thrilled to welcome Felicity, our dynamic BHS Stage 3 coach from Kingston Maurward, who will be taking over these lessons. This fun, confidence-building training pathway will take riders from polework to gridwork and small jumps with progressive, personalised exercises designed to develop rhythm, balance, and coordination. Whether you want to sharpen technique, overcome nerves, or step up towards competition, Felicity’s expert guidance will help you move forward with fun, confidence, and control.

These lessons will take place once a month on a Tuesday evening. Bookings will open very soon, online via Equo Events.
