This year so far at castle vets has been full of big celebrations and milestones within our team. A 30th year anniversary for our fantastic practice manager Ruth, a 50th birthday for Ellie, a Wedding for our student nurse Lauren and another two big birthdays to come for our nurses Tammy and Charlotte.
Today the team at Castle vets are Celebrating both our practice manager Ruth for her 30th Anniversary back in April and our wonderful Head Nurse Fliss for her 20 year anniversary this month 💛 💙
Fliss joined Castle Vets back in August 2006, through the years Fliss has grown and evolved as a nurse and with the practice. Taking an extra special interest in our feline patients 😻 and progressing to become our Head Nurse.
Fliss does a superb job keeping all of us organised and well fed with her wonderful bakes 🎂. She is a fantastic veterinary nurse and manager and we appreciate everything that she does for us all. So please join us, to thank and congratulate Fliss and Ruth on an incredible 20/30 years 💛💙

Many of you are going to recognise this face but we are very pleased to announce that Star(ex receptionist) has returned from her travels and is back with us but this time has begun her journey in the nursing world.
So meet star our new ANA (animal nursing assistant) we are super excited to be supporting her with this change in career.

This is Ruth, many off you will know this face but today marks 30 years since she started working at Castle Vets.
She started back in the day as a Registered Head Veterinary Nurse and although still registered she moved away from the clinical nursing 10 years ago and became the practice manager.
We just wanted to celebrate this achievement with all of you as well and to say none of us could do our job with out Ruth in the background!! 🐱 🐶 🐰 🐀 🐍
