☀️ Heatwave Alert – Let’s Keep Our Dogs Safe! 🐶💗

As the temperatures rise, it’s up to us to help our dogs stay cool, comfortable, and safe.

🐾 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening or don’t walk at all. A dog has never died from missing a walk
💧 Always carry fresh water and offer regular drinks.
🌳 Stick to shady routes and take plenty of breaks.
🐕 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds – if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws.
🚗 Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes.
❄️ Cooling mats, damp towels, frozen treats, and paddling pools can all help keep your pup comfortable.

⚠️ Watch out for signs of heatstroke:
• Excessive panting
• Heavy drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Vomiting
• Bright red or pale gums
• Collapse

If you think your dog is overheating, move them to a cool place, offer small amounts of water, gently cool them with cool (not ice-cold) water, and contact your vet immediately.

I may no post on social media much but just to let you all know I’m still around ❤️

Rumours have been circulated that I have stopped grooming (this statement is false!)

I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia
I have also had a recent stay in DRI due to unexplained bleeding for 3 months and now awaiting a biopsy on my uterus

Just because I’m quiet doesn’t mean I’m not here please message me and ask instead of listening to rumours

I would never ghost or just stop without telling any of my clients! Infact I’d rather be honest and help you find someone suited to you and your dog and give handover notes

Me and Shiloh are still around and he will continue to be the brightest pup around Conisbrough Denaby and Mexborough
