Polly's Cat Lodge is a purpose built boarding cattery built in the Autumn of 2012 to the highest of Feline Advisory Bureau standards. We are a friendly, family run cattery dedicated to the comfort, safety and total well being of your cat while you are away. We have 15 spacious, cosy chalets set in a quiet tranquil garden setting. All the chalets are fully insulated and thermostatically heated. All our chalets can house up to 2 cats sharing, we have 2 family sized chalets that can house up to 4 cats, that means even if you have a larger feline family we can cope (All cats sharing must be from the same household). We are fully licensed by North Lincolnshire Council. At meal times your cat will be fed their regular diet. Only the best fresh food is provided, and prepared in our hygienic cat kitchen attached to the cattery. Special diets are provided where necessary, normally at no extra cost. Regular meal times are adhered to. Adult cats are fed twice a day, whereas kittens and old cats are fed according to their requirements. All our guests are provided with a warm snug bed to settle down in to, if of course your cat has their own sleeping basket this can be brought. Also owners are requested to bring a small blanket or old sweater with which the cat is familiar this will help them settle quicker and feel more secure in their new surroundings. Toys.... of course we have toys, something to scratch, something to flick, something to pounce on (and kill!!) they are all here, and when your cat returns for their next visit, their personal toys will be waiting for them, just something else to help them settle again.

Our Man Shed crowd funder is coming to an end in 9 days, we are so grateful for all the donations we have received so far, but we have a way to go to reach our target. Thanks to other funding sources we have now managed to get the units moved and we now have power! Last night we started to cut through the container walls to create one unit.
After 2 years of hard, frustrating, often demoralising effort, this project is now going to make a big difference to anyone who attends either to learn new skills, bring along and share skills and experience or just use as a social hub.

City of Doncaster Council charged us £600 to disconnect the electricity from our present location which wiped us out financially and without power we are useless to serve the community at our new site.

Ruby you were the mother of our pack, you came from the most hideous of places where you spent the first six years of your short life persecuted by the lowest forms of human life. You brought and lived with those scars for the remainder of your days, but despite that you brought us love, tolerance, and an unmatched mother’s bond to all our babies even before they were born. You watched over them and your kindness will live with me forever.
Despite all that went before nature did its worst to you with dementia, deafness and blindness and the odd dodgy knee, but you continued to be an inspiration in determination and strength.
You stole our hearts and now the hole that is left is unbearably painful but I’m so immensely privileged to have been your dad and to have known and loved you.
Be free now Ruby from all that went before, run free with you brother and sister and be free from this cruel corrupt and twisted world.

I’ve broken out the big guns this evening. The misting system has made a big difference in maintaining cooler temperatures in cattery in previous years by cooling the air entering the cattery.
