Welcome to the 30's club! I officially turned 30 today😂 my back might hurt a bit more grooming your dogs now, but don't worry! I'm still going to groom for as long as I can🙈😂

There will be slow or no replies from now until next week as I celebrate with all my friends and family!

So a little bit of a story time. This is Dotty, we've groomed dotty now since we first started and she's a little diva but the cutest soul going. We started noticing a lump on dotty and each time she visited us the lump changed size or changed how it felt. We recommended the owner to take her to the vets to get it checked out because it wasn't your usual fatty lump we didn't believe. Turns out she had breast cancer!!! She had to undergo surgery and have it removed and also have a hysterectomy at the same time.

I really think people underestimate groomers and how we can help your dogs. We see your dogs more than the vets and we tend to notice behaviour changes and lumps and bumps. Now that doesn't ever mean we're qualified as a vet or can tell you what's wrong with your dog because we can't and we wouldn't. But we raise the concerns with yourself as our customers and that's then up to you with how you deal with it.

I'm so glad we managed to get Dotty sorted and seen by a vet as this could have been much worse!

Anyway, they shaved her back legs and undercarriage so we decided to do the same to her front legs to style out the cancer cut💁🏼‍♀️😂 and I can confirm she looks beautiful!!🩷🩷
