Just scrolling through photos and found a couple with Alice on that I don't think I've posted before. These were taken a few weeks ago. She will never be forgotten.

Unfortunately, we have some extremelly sad news to share. On Monday, we lost Alice. We took her to the vets; myself, Emily and the vet thought the best thing for her was to help her over rainbow bridge. It's a long time since we have had to make this sort of decision; its never easy.
Alice was Emily's guinea pig, she was the one that got us into showing cavies. She did so well at shows. Initially, Emily showed her as a pet, but, after judge after judge encouraged her to show her as a purebred, that's what we did. She went on to do really well in the open shows as well as the child owned sections. Most importanly she was a well loved pet who will be forever loved and missed.
We will miss you Alice ❤️
We would like to thank Arundell Vet Care for your care and understanding this week and Fusion Cavies, Alice's breeder for trusting us with her. It's been a pleasure to own one of your pigs. Also to all the judges that have thought so highly of her over the last couple of years.

Well that's another month over. We will be doing a hay run at the weekend; making sure we have plenty to see us over the colder months. Last month was a quiet one for us with the guinea pigs. We only attended the one show. This month will probably be even quieter as we have no shows planned. We will keep the page ticking over with lots of photos of them all at home enjoying their best lives.
