🧡 HAPPY GINGER CAT APPRECIATION DAY! 🧡

1st September is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day. It was started in 2014 in memory of a much-loved rescue ginger called Doobert.

Today we're celebrating those glorious golden, marmalade and fiery-orange felines who bring a little extra sunshine — and usually a fair amount of mischief — into our lives! 🐈🧡

And who better to represent the ginger contingent than the absolutely gorgeous Whiskey? 😻

With that magnificent fluffy coat, fabulous mane and ridiculously handsome face, we think you'll agree that Whiskey is a rather fine example of just how beautiful ginger cats can be.

Did you know that around 80% of ginger cats are male? Their beautiful orange colouring is linked to the X chromosome — although we're fairly certain the genes responsible for ginger-cat attitude are still being investigated... 😀

So today we'd LOVE to see your ginger beauties!
