🙏🏼❤️‍🩹 Back to the vets with little old lady Silvie today.

I’m excited to see if she’s put weight on, she looks like she has which might mean her thyroid is finally doing much better as well as her ability to digest and maintain protein levels.

She’s having another steroid jab and antibiotics, I’d ideally like to get her booked for her dental next week / the week after but we are going to need to raise at least half of the funds.

We have next to no money left in the pot, and I’ve been paying for the day to day things myself which I don’t mind doing, but realistically it’s leaving me so short every week 💔

If anyone would like to donate, please see below how to do so. Money to our vets directly is what I need more than anything at the moment as this is where the majority of the funds need to go.

Please share, I really do appreciate all the support. Regardless of me winding things down for now I am still juggling 3 domestic animals in foster and a few sickly birds.

Thank you ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

Desperate appeal for help 🙏🏼

We’re down to the last few £ in our account and still have mouths to feed and vet bills to pay for… it’s genuinely keeping me up at night worrying about how to keep things afloat.

Without money we’re genuinely struggling to continue to care for Silvie, Grace and Daphne.

Currently Silvie is under vet care for protein losing enteropathy which is the main reason she’s been unable to have her dental yet. She’s back in next week for further treatment.

Both Grace and Daphne are ready for their forever homes but need continuous care and maintaining in foster…

If anyone can spare any donation no matter how small it goes a long way, we really are so desperate at the moment. I appreciate all rescues are in the same boat right now and it’s the kindness of our supporters that keep things ticking over.

How to donate:
💛PayPal: [email protected]
🩵Bank transfer: Chirpys Allies
Sort code: 30-99-50
Account number: 59913363
💜Or directly to our vets - Gonda’s Maltby 01709 819888 (Ask to donate towards Chirpy’s Allies)

If anyone would like to drop off items we are always in need of cat food and cat litter, dog food also welcome for little Daphne.

Thank you so much ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Found this little darling on the way to see my lovely friend Emma at Windy Ridge Bird Rescue this morning… Sadly these little partridges always seem to be on the roads around here, so I suspect she’s been clipped by a car. Anyway, home with me she came 😅

I think when you run a rescue / do any sort of rescue work you just automatically scan the road for animals when you’re driving (I know I do 🤣) so I’m forever finding things.

No obvious brakes, she’s a bit weak on her legs but has started moving her feet this afternoon. She’ll be rested and kept on pain relief for the next few days, fingers crossed she recovers… ❤️‍🩹
