At Heywood Equine Bowen Therapy, I provide specialised Bowen treatments for horses and their riders. The Bowen Technique is an incredibly gentle, hands-on therapy which helps the body release tension, rebalance soft tissue, and restore natural movement. Sessions are tailored to each horse or individual, supporting comfort, performance, and long term wellbeing. Covering South Norfolk, North Suffolk and surrounding areas.

šŸ“ Equine Bowen appointment availability - Holt to Diss route - Sat 29th August šŸ“

Due to a sad change in circumstances for one of my lovely long-term clients and the rescheduling of another, I now have availability for equine bowen treatments on or around these potential Holt to Diss routes on Saturday 29th August.

As my regular clients will attest, Bowen is a wonderfully gentle form of bodywork, perfectly suitable for horses of all ages and disciplines, and can be very helpful in releasing areas of tension or restriction.

My usual additional mileage charges will NOT apply on this route, and discounted rates are available for more than one horse / yard bookings, horse + rider treatments etc.
(Riders are treated over light, loose clothing, so field/yard bookings are very popular this time of year!)

Thereā€™s always something special about going back to a new client after their first appointment and seeing how their body has responded...

Photos are only ever a snapshot in time, but in the first picture, before my lovely new client Hope's first treatment two weeks ago, you can see she was holding a lot of tension through her body - a little on the forehand, with very limited core support, and her topline wasnā€™t flowing freely. She was also carrying more weight through her shoulders, with front legs braced and set slightly underneath her.

The second photo, taken this morning before her second treatment, shows some lovely early changes. Her body already looks softer and more organised, with a more even, flowing topline and less tension through her back. Her neck is lifting more from the base, her shoulders and elbows look freer, and her front legs are standing more comfortably. Behind, sheā€™s beginning to bring her hindquarters more under her, and overall she looks more balanced and at ease.

Iā€™m really looking forward to seeing how she has continued to progress when I see her again for her next treatment in a couple of weeks!

āœØ Just as a reminder: Iā€™m STILL offering an initial course of 3 treatments for the price of 2 for new clients - a great way to gently bring your horse back into balance while being a little kinder on your pocket! āœØ
