Morning all!
Road closures continue to try and stop us seeing any clients with the Hepworth end of our road closed today!!
If you usually come through Hepworth or from Barningham or Market Weston to the Hepworth crossroads you’ll need to re-route and either continue along the Stanton road to turn left down North Common and come in that way or continue along the A143 to Stanton and then turn right down past Hillcrest 🚧⚠️

Roads round us are a bit of a nightmare today so please leave with plenty of time to negotiate the maze and get to us!
The Street, Hepworth is still closed and the B1111 from the A143 Stanton up towards Hillcrest past the nursing home is also closed! and likely to be up to 14 th August.
From Diss, likely best route off the A143 would be via Wattisfield and Market Weston or through Hopton form the A1066, from Bury I’ll figure out shortly trying to get myself to work and update!😅

Update on the A143 closure at Stanton, now expected to be closed up to Thursday 16th July.

Repair works are to take place on the A143 between Stanton and Ixworth, which has been affected by the recent high temperatures.
The road had already been identified for further improvement works later this summer due to existing defects.
At present, it is planned for the road to reopen again by Monday July 13, if not sooner and subject to safety checks, following an initial phase of permanent repairs to the worst of the defects which are due to start this week.
A combination of prolonged hot weather and local traffic conditions accelerated the deterioration of the carriageway, requiring an emergency closure to be implemented on Tuesday July 7 to enable repairs to take place safely.
Further updates will be provided here as they become available.

Another stunning day in Suffolk!! We’re still all systems go at the moment, the A/C units are on, the fans are on and the dogs are still loving their treatments as you can see Denzil modelling beautifully this morning snoozing in front of the fan for his physio! 🥹
We’re reviewing room temps as the day goes on and may be contacting to rearrange if it does get worse but so far so good! If you are worried at all though about travelling etc please just contact us, especially for the older furries, we would rather they stayed home and kept cool if they’re struggling!

2026 brings change to Meadow Farm

In 2025 I was delighted to celebrate 25 years of work at Meadow Farm, 25 years that I feel so lucky to have achieved and enjoyed.

For 2026 I am taking a step back and handing over the reins of Meadow Farm Hydrotherapy to Emily Hopkins of Regain Veterinary Physiotherapy. Emily has worked at Meadow Farm since 2021 and all our current clients will have been assessed and treated by her during that time. Emily has been working alongside me providing hydrotherapy treatment since gaining her qualification and I am delighted that she will be carrying Meadow Farm Hydrotherapy into the future with fresh ideas and the best compassionate care and up to date treatments. I know that all our four footed clients and their families will be in the best hands.

It has been truly special treating all the animals that have been referred to me over the past 25 years. I can't thank all my clients and referring vets enough for trusting me, for your friendship and for your encouragement and support.

I will be at Meadow Farm for the foreseeable future providing hydrotherapy 2 days a week for Emily and offering some behaviour support. I also plan to launch some new projects in the future but for the time being I am taking some time to spend with my family.
