Wow… four whole years! We have found some photos of right back at the start. We’ve welcomed so many wonderful dogs and their amazing humans through our gates. We’ve loved seeing your pups run, play, explore, sniff, zoom around and simply enjoy having a safe space to enjoy!🐕🐾
And because we wouldn’t be here without YOU, we wanted to do something special to say thank you! 💚

❗️“Learn More” instead of “Book Now”❗️

Just to let everyone know, we’ve sorted the problem with the booking link this morning. However, instead of showing “Book Now”, it will now show a “Learn More” button.

Don’t worry — the button will work exactly the same way as the “Book Now” button did, so you can still access the booking link as normal. 😊

Sorry to anyone who had problems this morning, but everything is now up and running again! 🎉

🔥 With the hot, dry weather and so many fires happening at the moment, we’re asking everyone who visits Westbrook Green Sensory Dog Park to take extra care. 🔥

🚭 NO SMOKING in the fields, please. Even a small cigarette end can cause a fire when the grass is this dry.

🍾 Please be very cautious with glass bottles and containers. Take all glass home with you and don’t leave anything behind that could potentially cause or contribute to a fire.

🔥 Please also be mindful of anything else you bring into the fields that could create a spark or start a fire.

Let’s all do our bit to keep our dogs, our park and our local community safe. ❤️🐾

Please take your rubbish home (not including dog poo!) We will deal with that for you! leave no glass behind, and help us protect the park we all love.

🐾 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT YOUR BOOKING TIMES 🐾

We’ve recently received quite a few comments and complaints regarding people arriving early for their bookings, going down the track before their time slot, or remaining in the car park/around the field after their allocated time has finished.

⏰ If you have booked 30 minutes, you have 30 minutes. If you have booked an hour, you have one hour.

This time includes:
• Arriving and getting your dog/s out of the car
• Your time in the field
• Getting your dog/s back into the car
• Leaving the car park/area near the fields

We completely understand that you may want to have a chat with friends, take your time getting your dog settled in the car, or spend a little longer enjoying the area — but please remember that your booked time is for the whole visit to the field including the car park area near the fields by the end of your booking time.

Please do not go down the track towards the fields before your allocated start time. If you arrive early, please remain in the car park outside the cottages until your booking time begins.

Likewise, once your booking has finished, please make sure you and your dog have left the field and the car park area near the fields so the next customer can arrive and enjoy their booked time without feeling rushed or having to wait.

🐕 Want to stay at Westbrook a little longer?
No problem! You are more than welcome to park in the car park outside the cottages and enjoy a walk along the public footpaths or up our back drive towards the heywood road entrance (not beside Gordy’s field). We simply ask that you are completely out of the hired field and the car park near the fields by the end of your booking.

We know that everyone wants to make the most of their time here, and we really appreciate your understanding. This is particularly important because bookings run back-to-back, and everyone deserves to have their full allocated time without another dog or group waiting around the field.

💚 Please help us keep Westbrook Green Sensory Dog Park enjoyable, fair and stress-free for everyone — and please respect the booking times.

Thank you to the majority of you who are amazing and already do this but unfortunately there is a few who need reminding. Also most importantly just becuase the field is sometimes empty doesn’t mean it isn’t being hired (reactive dogs etc)
