Back with full force today after a week off. I had the pleasure of grooming this handsome boy. Parker is a rescue. The owner is unsure if he has been groomed before, so I took it nice and slowly. He did amazing. I did fall head over heels with him, but with a face like that how could I not? See you soon good boy!

Three breeds all needing a de-shed to remove undercoat which helps to keep them cool in the summer. Each breed requires a different techniques to remove dead undercoat.
Ralph the Labrador had a de-shedding mud spa treatment, followed by a de-shedding shampoo, a good blast through his coat with the dryer and a brush through.
Aoife the miniature Dachshund had a brush to loosen her coat, followed by a thorough comb with a carding knife.
And last but not least Frank who was the winner with how much was removed with a de-shedding rake.
How beautiful are they and very much cooler without that dead hair trapped in their coats

Beautiful Nelly! This little girl has come to me from a tiny puppy, her owner loves her long, flowing trims and her body is hand stripped. She was on a 6wk schedule but because she’s a spaniel and loves to be outside, managing her coat was tricky. She now comes every 4 wks. Her beautiful coat is much easier to manage by all. I have also tweaked the products I use on her to achieve the best results.
