A sad week for the team having to say goodbye to Jeff, Betty and Winnie as they move out of the area. We will miss you all very much and send thanks to the pawrents for being such great customers. Wishing you all lots of happy times in your new homes.

🐾 **Tick Season Is Here!** 🐾

A friendly reminder to all our wonderful dog owners that tick season is in full swing. As we're out enjoying walks through fields, woodlands, and long grass, it's important to check your dogs thoroughly after every walk.

Ticks can attach themselves anywhere, but common spots include around the ears, neck, under the collar, between the toes, and around the armpits.

✅ Check your dog regularly
✅ Keep tick prevention treatments up to date
✅ Remove ticks promptly and safely if found

We'll always do our best to keep an eye out during walks, but a quick check at home is always recommended.

Let's keep our furry friends happy, healthy, and tick-free this season! 🐶❤️

🐾 Rare Dog Walking Spaces Available! 🐾

From mid-June, a limited number of spaces will be available on our popular group dog walks due to some of our customers relocating.

Our walks are perfect for friendly, well-socialised dogs that can be trusted off-lead in countryside locations.

At Outward Hounds, dogs enjoy exciting adventures, plenty of exercise, social interaction, and lots of sniffing opportunities, all led by experienced, fully insured team of walkers with over 10 years of dog care experience.

Claire is back! 🇳🇴🐾

After an absolutely wonderful holiday exploring the breathtaking Norwegian Fjords, I’d just like to say a huge thank you to my amazing team for keeping everything running so smoothly while I was away.

You were faced with one of the hottest weeks of the year, looked after all of our wonderful dogs brilliantly, and coped with every challenge thrown your way. I couldn’t be more grateful for your hard work, dedication, and care. ❤️

On a personal note, just before I left for my holiday, I was also blessed with a very special new arrival — my beautiful grandson, Sullivan Alexander. 💙

It’s been a couple of weeks full of incredible memories, and I’m feeling very lucky, very grateful, and ready to get back to seeing all of our lovely dogs and their owners.

The weather is looking much cooler tomorrow, which means perfect conditions for a fun-filled day of dog walking! We’ll be aiming to leave our homes a little later tomorrow and can’t wait to get out with all of our lovely four-legged friends.

Please make sure your dogs are ready for an exciting day of adventures, sniffs, playtime, and plenty of wagging tails! 🐶☀️

Hi everyone,

With the warm weather this week, we will be leaving our houses between 7:00–7:30am to collect the dogs so we can walk them earlier while it’s cooler.

Walks will be shorter than usual and mainly in wooded areas to keep the dogs as comfortable as possible. We will also have plenty of water on board throughout the day.

As always, if you are home and would prefer to cancel a walk, we are more than happy to do so. Because walks will be earlier, please let us know if your dog will need an afternoon pop-in for a quick wee.

IMPORTANT INFO! all our customers, just a reminder Claire is away from tomorrow and not contactable so please get in touch with Stevie if you need anything. You should all have her number from the WhatsApp broadcasts that have been sent out. Next week is looking particularly warm! We will likely be working under our hot weather procedures and monitoring things day to day. Please keep an eye out here for updates on Sunday. Walks will be earlier and possibly shorter depending on how hot it is. We will be walking in shaded areas and carrying water. Please leave out cool jackets if your dog has one and lets us know if you dog will require a pop in later in the day if they go out earlier than usual. Your dogs safety and comfort is our utmost priority as always. Claire and The Team x

Last week we lost one of the oldest members of our pack Skye. She’s been with us since the beginning of Outward Hounds and before. A solid, funny, cuddly, bouncy, ball loving, adventurous, soulful and deeply loved part of the pack. Always with bright eyes, an open smile and alert ears. She retired from walks a while back but was always there for a cuddle and a biscuit when we collected Lula for her walks. Skye you will be missed more than you know by us, Lula and your amazing and supportive family to whom we send all our love to. We are so grateful to have had you in our lives. Thank you for every walk, every cuddle, every moment. Run free gorgeous girl ###x
