Sweet Savvy 🦜 came in to see vets Karen and Georgia this morning for a routine beak and nail trim 💕

Savvy’s beak unfortunately grows in an odd direction and so it is important to shape it regularly to ensure comfort 💕

Sweet Bracken was in today for X-rays of his front leg due to a prolonged lameness ❤️‍🩹

On the X-rays we found some signs of osteoarthritis, but thankfully nothing else too worrying!

Lots of our pets as they get older start to get osteoarthritis, which can be a painful condition. We often see signs such as lameness, stiffness getting up from rest, or just generally slowing down.

Please get in touch if you have an elderly pet and you are concerned 🐾

Say hello to Libby! 🐕✨

Libby is a lovely Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was in the hospital recently for an abdominal scan and pancreatitis testing.

Pancreatitis is a painful digestive condition often triggered by rich foods (like bacon, sausages, and butter), underlying health factors or other conditions. We often see signs such as vomiting, diarrhoea, anorexia and cranial abdominal pain. It is a condition that can wax and wane, or presently very acutely with a very unwell patient!

Libby is recovering well at home. Get well soon, sweet girl! 🐾🩷

Recently the team were lucky enough to see this lovely male Sugar Glider!

Vets Karen and Georgia completed his castration, with SVN Esme doing a wonderful job of monitor his general anaesthetic 🤩

We are pleased to say he recovered really well and was looking fantastic at his post op check with RVN Charlotte
