🐴 A little bit of schooling, a lot of learning! 🐴
All our horses and ponies are schooled by our staff, but sometimes we’re simply a little too big for our smaller four-legged friends! 😂 So, we mix things up with lunging, long-reining and in-hand work.
This Sunday was all about working on steering, balance and confidence, using poles and groundwork to help our horses develop their skills. 🐎
We finished the session with one of our young liveries asking questions, giving us the perfect opportunity to explain the why and how behind the work. It’s so important that our riders understand not just what we do, but why we do it.
✨ Better educated people, happier horses and ponies, and a stronger partnership between the two.
Because learning never stops, whether you have four legs or two! 💚
