As followers of my page and business know ,im NOT a dog trainer and i absolutely dont pretend to be but in my working life im so lucky to at times to work with two excellent trainers ,and this morning a conversation came back to me about dogs barking ,and obviously you cant have dogs barking continously ,but we seem to have become obsessed with it ,and even one bark seems to be to much ,but the other day the conversation was about ,they are communicating as only they can ,this morning my terrier thought someone was outside our gate so he really barked ( if you have ever owned a terrier you know they are not known for being quiet 😀 ) ,i nearly went to tell him to be quiet ,but stopped in my tracks and remembered the conversation also I remember my lovely dad saying about our terriers when I lived at home ,well thats a really good house dog ,letting you know there is someone around ,your dog doesn't know through a brick wall whether they are friend or foe the other side ,my dad was a wise country man who lived a simple life with a parade of terriers who were never any bother ,but they were as he put it good house dogs .
