Kids Dog Training Club 🐶

I'm just floating the idea to see if there would be much interest over the summer holidays for a dog training club for kids? If so, what sort of days/ times? It would be a 4 week course in Garvestone for kids aged 7+ with their dogs (or family dogs).

Booking is now open for our next term of Puppy School!

Set your puppy up for success with our upcoming Puppy School term! Our welcoming, small-group classes are led by a qualified behaviourist and trainer, giving you and your pup expert support from the very start.

We’ll cover all the essentials, including loose lead walking, reliable recall, and tackling common puppy challenges like biting and settling. Our approach also encourages calm, positive socialisation helping your puppy build confidence around others while staying engaged with you.

You’ll also learn how to make the most of your puppy’s key socialisation period, giving them the best foundation for life.

Held in a spacious hall in Garvestone, just minutes from Dereham and Wymondham, with access to a secure outdoor field.

Starts Tuesday 30th June at 6:15pm

£95 for a 6-week course

The on lead group dog meet is back this Sunday with Dog Owners of Toftwood & surrounding areas 🐾

Sunday 31st May meeting at 10:30am on the main field at the Neatherd (Dereham NR20 4AG).

This is a free group walk open to all dogs and owners. It's a great opportunity to work with your dog amongst other under control and on lead dogs. It's also a nice opportunity to chat to other like minded owners and has become a lovely little community.

All dogs must stay on lead and be aware that some dogs in the group might not be dog/ stranger friendly so keep appropriate space and advocate for your dog.

A bit of silliness as the weather was cooler today! Have you ever tried just legging it to see if your dogs are paying any attention to you? 😂 I can't lie, I do this fairly frequently if my dogs are off lead and I think they are too engaged with the environment (and not focusing enough on me). This was actually a pretty slow response from my dogs (and child 😂) but everyone thinks it's the best game ever!
