Join us for an exciting afternoon of trick-or-treating, exotic animals and reptile encounters right here in the shop! 🐍🦎

We’ve teamed up with an experienced exotic animal presenter who will be bringing along some AMAZING reptiles, including massive snakes, impressive lizards and other incredible exotic animals!
And yes… you may even get the chance to HANDLE them! 😍🐍

💡 WE HAVE LIGHTS!!!!! 💡

The tanks are slowly coming together, and we honestly can’t wait to get some new inhabitants swimming around in them! 🐟😍

But before we could even think about adding fish, we needed to make sure the water was safe and ready for its new residents. 💧

So, what did we use? 👇
🧪 Dechlorinator
To remove chlorine and chloramines from the water, making it safe for fish. Which can also kill beneficial bacteria. So makesure to treat your water changes as well.

🦠 Bacteria Introduction
To help establish the beneficial bacteria needed to create a healthy, stable aquarium ecosystem.

🔬 Water Testing
Even though test strips aren't the most accurate way of measuring your water parameters, they're a quick, easy and uncomplicated way of getting a rough idea of what's happening in your aquarium.
For the most accurate results, we recommend using a liquid testing kit — which is exactly what we've used here. 🧪

Getting the water right is one of the most important steps when setting up an aquarium, so we're taking our time to make sure everything is just right before introducing any fish. ❤️

Even with this change in weather — although, let’s be honest, the rain is definitely needed! 🌧️ — we’re here as usual.

So, if you need anything for your pets, whether it’s their everyday necessities or a little optional treat, come and pop in! 🐶🐱🐰🐦🐠🦎

AND YES… WE ARE OPEN THIS BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY! 🎉

We’ll be open 10am–4pm, using our usual Sunday hours, so you’ve still got somewhere to grab everything your best friends need (and maybe a few treats they definitely don’t need but absolutely deserve 😉).

A looooooong day once again... We've just arrived home! 😴🏠

But this is what it takes to grow as a business while also increasing our product lines with trusted and well-researched products which we know you already love or will love. 📈💖

Many of you will also see a new addition to our store. These are three 4ft fish tanks: two tropical and one cold water, which will allow us to stock larger species of fish. Our current tanks wouldn't be suitable, even temporarily. 🐠💦

The process of getting these sorted has started; they might look like a swamp, but trust the process. 🚧💪
