We’re Lucy & Becky, your local dog walkers and pet sitters.

Our first walk back after the school summer break and it was a fabulous one! 😍 Lucy and I have missed your pets so much and we've talked a lot about them 😍🐾🐾

Our official start date is Monday 7 September and from then we now have some availability for term time dog walking.

An 8am walk and 2 pop in visits for these treasures today, so many cuddles! 🥰🥰🐾

These covered up black beauties are the only walk we're doing today due to the soaring temperatures, all other visits are garden visits for toilet, play and cuddles.

Remember, anything above 23 degrees is getting into dangerous territory for heat stroke. Also, check the pavements with the 10 second hand rule, if it's hot, don't walk! Not all surfaces feel the same either. Black tarmac holds heat more than slabs so please be cautious.

P.S. I assure you, both dogs have heads!! 😂

Know the signs, start cooling, call a vet

Signs of heatstroke can progress very quickly. It only takes a 2°C rise in body temperature for heatstroke to kick in. Once in heatstroke, your dog can suffer from brain damage or even death in 15 minutes!

If you think your dog may have heatstroke it is vital that you immediately start cooling them down and call a vet for further advice. Getting early advice and treatment is essential to saving a dog’s life. Research has found that in the UK, 1 in 7 dogs that are taken to vets with heatstroke don’t survive, although 98% that are seen early with mild signs are likely to recover.
