Today is National Wildlife Day (again!)

We observe this day twice a year to raise awareness about global animal conservation and endangered species.

Did you know Hedgehogs are classified as vulnerable to extinction on the Red List for British Mammals, rather than officially endangered. This time of year we see lots and lots and the advice would be to initially call a hedgehog or wildlife rescue for advice and if they need veterinary attention to call your nearest vets for support.

Back to school isn't just a big change for children - it can be a big adjustment for pets too. 📚

As the summer holidays come to an end, our pets often have to get used to quieter homes, new routines and spending more time on their own.

To help them settle back into the school routine:
🐾 Gradually reintroduce time alone
🧩 Keep them busy with enrichment toys and puzzle feeders
🚶 Stick to regular walks and feeding times
💙 Make time for quality cuddles and play before and after school
