Harley and Tubs are 13yr old small JRT brothers who are looking for a home together. They are neutered, micro chipped, flea and worm treated and have both had dentals with us, having 7 teeth out each. We have chosen not to re vaccinate them due to their age and already having an immunity. Their bloods are all ok and they will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

These boys have been in the same home since pups, sadly their female owner passed away and her partner threw them outside where they have been living outside for a while until rescued....poor boys.

Tubs is the slightly bigger boy at 6.4kg, whilst Harley is just 5.5kg but both boys absolutely love their food and eat with gusto, even straight after their dental procedures! They both have "queen anne" bowed front legs but will have been like it since birth.

Both boys are absolutely lovely dogs, so sweet natured and friendly and just a pleasure to have around. They are so well behaved and seem to love everyone and everything.

They are fantastic with other dogs and happily sharing their foster home with multiple other small dogs, they are good with cats and been fantastic around young visiting grand children. We would suggest any resident children in the home be a bit older 8yrs plus but young visiting kids are fine.

They will need a home with a nice safe and secure garden to play in, they don't have separation anxiety but don't like being shut out or away in a crate (understandably after what's happened to them), they would be absolutely great company for a retired but active person or couple who can still give them plenty of lovely walks but wants easy companions in the home.

They sleep down stairs at night quietly, walk well on the lead and are ok travelling in the car.

Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £400 for the pair

As the summer holidays come to an end, some dogs might find it hard to adjust to being on their own again. 🐾

Here are some tips from the PDSA to help your dog feel more settled as ‘normal’ life resumes! If you think your dog needs a bit more help, book an appointment with us or we can put you in touch with a separation anxiety specialist. 🐾💕

SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 11AM-3PM

Please come and join us to celebrate our annual gala.

There will be a raffle, tombola and games for all the family.

The British Wildlife Rescue Centre will be there with a few special guests.

Live music will be in attendance.

Food and drink and delicious homemade cakes.

No event would be without the chance to come and visit all the cats and kittens available for adoption.
