A little update on Mouse (now Gus) 🐭

Gus started to lose mobility in his back legs suddenly and became extremely wobbly - unable to walk properly, couldn’t toilet without toppling over and struggling with pain and day to day life 😔

His mum took him to the vet hospital for an MRI, CT scan and spinal tap and it was found that he had atlanto-axial luxation (a congenital condition where the dislocation of the first two neck vertebrae cause compression on the spinal cord). He underwent a 5 and a half hour emergency spinal surgery just days later and after 3 nights of hospitalisation and monitoring by neurologists he was back home ❤️

He still has a long road ahead of him with his recovery but he has already started to gain some mobility back in his hind legs! He’s such a little fighter and we really couldn’t be prouder of him 🫶🏼

Meet Sadie the 8 week old lurcher x collie 😍

This beautiful girl hasn’t had the greatest start to life, she was rescued from living in a shed along with her sister (who is with another rescue) but we’re going to make up for her bad start and make sure she has the best life moving forward ❤️

Ava has found her forever home 🫶🏼

Our gorgeous girl has found her forever home and has settled in amazingly with her new brother Dexter - we could not be happier for her 🥰

We didn’t open applications for Ava as we already had the perfect home waiting from previous applications! This goes to show that just because you may have not been successful for one specific dog it could be because the most amazing match is still to come 🙏🏼

Meet Miss Cindy Lou 😇

This absolute sweetheart was surrendered to us and she’s now on a bit of a weight loss journey 🙈

Her breathing is quite concerning at the moment and we’re hoping she just needs to lose a little weight but we’ll also be getting a BOAS consult for her to be sure it’s nothing more than a little podge 🤞🏼

Meet Jack the 8 week old frenchie ❤️

Jacks brother was surrendered to us as he was born with a cleft palate and as there were only two pups in the litter Jack came along too so he wasn’t alone! Unfortunately his brother had hydrocephalus, as well as his cleft, and after a severe seizure he peacefully passed away 😔

This is when our little nightmare before christmas duo was created 🥹 So that Jack wasn’t lonely he moved in with Sally (ironic names as they’re both an absolute dream ☁️)

Jack was tube fed from just hours old before being weaned onto solids and now his little personality is starting to come through as he learns all the mischievous puppy ways 🙈

He’s not available for adoption just yet so please don’t send enquiries at the moment but we’ll post updates and let everyone know when he’s taking applications 🫶🏼

BEAN UPDATE 🫘🧡

Our gorgeous Bean came into rescue quite a while ago now after struggling with some pretty severe gastro issues.

His breeder had tried just about everything. He’d undergone lots of tests and investigations, but despite their best efforts, they just weren’t getting to the bottom of what was going on. They reached out to us and asked if we could take Bean on and of course, we happily said yes. 🤎

When Bean first arrived, one of our biggest concerns was his appetite. He simply didn’t want to eat. When he did, it would only be tiny amounts, and he was also suffering from awful, explosive bouts of diarrhoea. 💔

Since then, there have been lots more vet visits, investigations, tests and plenty of trial and error to find what works for him.

And look at him now. 🥹

Bean has been doing absolutely amazingly. He’s now on a fantastic diet that really seems to suit him, his diarrhoea has settled, his appetite is HUGE and he’s been happily piling on the pounds. 🙌🏼

And with feeling so much better has come a whole new Bean… 😂

He’s cheeky, mischievous, full of character and basically everything you’d expect from a typical English Bull Terrier puppy. 🤣🤍 Safe to say, his personality has well and truly arrived!

Bean is heading back to the vets this morning and we’re keeping absolutely everything crossed that we finally get that all important sign off. 🤞🏼

BEAN WILL OFFICIALLY BE READY TO FIND HIS FOREVER HOME! 🏡🫘🧡

Meet little Sally 💛

We don’t actually know what breed or how old Sally is exactly because she was abandoned outside a farm as a newborn 😔 We estimate her to be around 8 weeks and honestly we change what breed we think she is every time she has a growth spurt 🙈

This little lady came into foster care with Becci to be tube fed and it was quite the fight for them both to get her to where she is but how worth it it was to see her shine the way she is now ✨

Sally is not taking enquiries just yet but we’ll keep you all updated on when she’s ready 🙏🏼

We’ve also got Jack to introduce today…any guesses on the theme for these two names? 👀

Meet Osbourne ❤️

Our little labrador pup who was surrendered to us with an extremely large cleft palate! He’s currently being tube fed every two hours day and night by Lauren before he builds the strength in the next 4-5 weeks to be weaned onto solids and taught how to eat all on his own! 🤞🏼 It’s a lengthy and tiring process but he’s a strong little man and we know he’s got this 💪🏼

Osbourne is of course too vulnerable and little to be taking enquiries at the moment so please don’t send notes of interest at this time 🙏🏼 We’ll keep you all updated on his progress 🥰

We wanted to say a massive thank you to mum for raising an absolutely outstanding £1030 to help as save more puppies just like little Doris 🥹

For every £10 donated Doris’ mum did 15 burpees!! THAT’S 1545 BURPEES 🙈 You definitely deserve a break after that so we hope crazy Doris is behaving
