REACTOR PANEL SADDLES (RP)– WHERE CORRECT TRAINING MEETS CORRECT EQUIPMENT 🐴
Another fantastic visit from Saddle Exchange, our regular saddle fitters here at Neigh Bother!
I've personally been riding in a ReactorPanel dressage saddle for around a year now, and I can honestly say I've been incredibly impressed with the concept, the design and, most importantly, how the horses move in them.
Saddle Exchange visit us monthly, and over time, our clients have been able to see and understand why I'm such a big believer in these saddles.
This visit was particularly exciting, with three of our clients investing in brand-new ReactorPanel saddles! 👏🐴
So, what makes them different?
The ReactorPanel system is designed to work with the horse's movement, using independently moving panels that allow greater adaptability beneath the saddle, help distribute pressure and accommodate changes in the horse's shape and musculature.
But for me, it's about much more than the saddle itself.
At Neigh Bother, our philosophy has always been to develop the horse from the inside out.
We work on straightness, balance, core engagement, developing the thoracic sling and encouraging the horse to lift through its back, building strength and muscle correctly over time.
And this is where saddle design becomes so important.
We can spend hours carefully training a horse to use its body correctly, but if the equipment restricts that movement, we can be working against what we're trying to achieve.
A correctly fitted saddle that accommodates the horse's movement and developing musculature, combined with thoughtful, progressive training, can make an enormous difference.
The saddle doesn't build the topline – correct movement and training do. But the right saddle can help give the horse the freedom and comfort to develop it.
That's what I love about the ReactorPanel philosophy.
It's been lovely watching our clients gradually understand this approach, seeing the changes in their own horses and now choosing to invest in equipment that supports their long-term development.
Having ridden in mine for the past year, I genuinely believe these saddles are something special. The freedom of movement I've experienced has been incredible, and I really do think they're ahead of their time.
For me, these are the saddles of the future! ⭐
