What a wonderful week with the gang.

Eddie, Maggie & Ritchie had some training on adventure walks this week and then we decided to give an enclosed field a try on a different day to see if that works better. I have never ever done an enclosed field before, but Maggir really needs some extra security & confidence building. Thank you for your safe space 🫶🏼

And of course as usual normal walks for the rest of the doggys, with lots of structured walks, fun play, training and adventures.

Firstly, let’s address the elephant in the room… 🤣

⭐️ New Tent… ahem COAT ⭐️

If anyone sees what appears to be a giant lilac tent roaming around the woods in a torrential downpour… yes. Yes, that is I. 👋🤣

Do I look ridiculous? Absolutely.
Am I basically wearing a 2-man tent? Possibly.
Am I incredibly warm, dry and cosy underneath it? YOU BET I AM. 😂💜

So thank you for all the Dry Robe recommendations, I am now the very proud owner of this enormous but very pretty lilac monstrosity 🤣☔️

It’s been such a lovely week with all the doggies 🐾 and my Raffles pop-ins have now come to an end 🥺 I’ll miss you tons, my little squishy! 💜

Some photos behind the scenes 🎬😅

Things that I always remember when about to take photos.

1. Don't bother trying to get a photo at the start of a walk. Wait until they're done having wees/poos, and nearly at the end of their walk, when they're well exercised both mentally and physically. It took me a while to learn this one, trust me it is a more calming experience for everyone 🤣

2. Have high value treats at the ready. Who says you shouldn't reward a well behaved pooch? 🧀

3. Lots of happy tones 😊

4. Get all my doggys to sit. Unless they are my senior doggys who have poor joints so they get the luxury of just standing and waiting all cute unless they want to sit of course.

5. Don't mess about. Its a dog walk not a photoshoot. 📸 🤘

Ps. No I didn't recall the Geese and have them lineup for the shoot BUT I will take the credit if I must 🤣

🌟 3 MORE NEWBIES! 🌟

Please welcome Poppy, Wilson & Norman 🐾💜

Norman smashed his first solo walk, amazing recall, super well behaved and listened to every word! 👏🐶

Puppies Poppy & Wilson joined Ellie for their first group walk and LOVED every second! 🥹🐾 Their off-lead skills and recall are incredible, huge hats off to their pawrents! 🌟👏

Our new terrier trio also did brilliantly! The bros enjoyed a duo walk, while Maggie will continue with some calm confidence-building 💜✨

Welcome back to Raffles the most beautiful kitty in all the land 🐈 I can't wait for lots of play & cuddles ❤️

And the rest of the crew, Basil, Rosie, Rupert, Beau, Ellie, George & Daisy, got absolutely SOAKED on Thursday 🌧️😂 Fair play for still posing for photos! Rosie definitely gave me the “Aunty Micky… seriously?!” look 🤣🐶 and Baxter, usually teaming with Beau & Ellie had a solo today and I must say, he absolutely loves 121 walks 🥰

🐾 6 NEW FACES JOINING US THIS WEEK! 😍

What a week I've got ahead! 🐶💜 6 new dogs starting their adventures with me, and first up were our trio Border Terriers, Eddie, Ritchie & Maggie, and they absolutely SMASHED their solo walks 👏🥰

Of course, the usual gang have been out having plenty of fun too 😍🐾

Tomorrow we welcome Norman, our gorgeous Mini Schnauzer who is FULL of bubbles 😅🫧

Then on Friday we welcome the cockapoo puppy twins, Wilson & Poppy who are beyond adorable 🐶🐶💜

I am excited to watch them settle into the Denby Dale Tails gang and to be part of our family! 🥰🐾

A quiter start to my first week back which has been a bit of a blessing.

Thank you so far to my amazing clients. I was supposed to have 1 week off after my big surgery and needed 2 weeks. I am still recovering so taking care with my routes and routine with dogs. I've also had to switch to some popins from walks and shorten walks to accommodate my silly legs. Honestly, I am so lucky to have the most amazing clients, thank you 🐾🥰

Also a huge thank you to my amazing partner David Mellor for taking care of me, I am not sure how I mentally and physically could have got through this without you ❤️💚💜

Ps. Thanks to my house cats Casper & Willow for resisting temptation and not licking my poorly legs to death 🤣

Tomorrow I'm heading in for an operation, so I'm hoping for the speediest recovery possible. 🤞
