🐾 Will my dog like Canissage?

Most dogs settle and relax very quickly, but if your dog is a little unsure at first, there are some simple ways to help them feel comfortable. However, don't over think it.... often the most anxious dogs settle the quickest.

🦴 Use high-value treats
Especially for dogs who are nervous or unsure. Reward them for interacting with the bed and build positive associations.

🐶 They don’t have to lie down!
As long as your dog is touching the bed, they can benefit from the therapy — whether they’re sitting, standing, or even have just one paw on the bed.

🔊 Worried about the noise?
Canissage does make a sound, but it isn’t loud — it’s simply different from what your dog is used to. The vast majority of dogs don’t even seem to notice it, even though it may be something their owners initially worry about.

For more nervous dogs, try placing the bed on a blanket to reduce the sound of vibration and sit on the bed with them so they feel reassured.

You can also make it part of a fun training exercise! Try sit-to-stands, stepping on and off the bed, and rewarding them each time. This can be a great way to introduce even the most worried dogs gradually.

✨ And once they start to feel the benefits?
You may find they come running over to the bed and **wait for you to switch it on!** 🐕💤
