Hapus Calan Gaeaf! 👻👻👻🎃🎃🎃
As the nights start drawing in, please remember your hi-vis for you and your animals! Lets keep everyone safe, be seen!
I can source a huge number of hi-vis items for animals, if you need help finding anything for your pets please just ask 🥰

Now is a good time to de-flea your pets too, as the colder nights encourage all sorts of creepy crawlies into your home 🕷🦟 message me for product recommendations or to organise a prescription.

Decorative pumpkins made by a close friend also for sale, although reluctantly as I think they look great here! Drop me a message or pop by if you're interested 🎃🎃

CAT FOUND
Sadly I have a young, female, pale ginger (peach) and white cat, possibly about 8months old found deceased at the pictured location. There is no chip so I am unfortunately unable to trace an owner.
I will hold her for 24h and then lay her to rest if noone has come forward.

A warm welcome to my new assistant, Zoe!

Zoe will be helping me look after your pets during surgery days. She has many pets of her own, and had started to become a veterinary nurse before the wanderlust of youth took over!

She has already been a huge help to me, and loves meeting all your pets and makes sure they are thoroughly spoilt on their visits 🥰

URGENT foster homes needed! 🐶🐶🐶

A spaniel rescue I work closely has had a recent influx of dogs who all need foster homes. This rescue prides itself on not using kennels, all their rescues are placed in foster homes before adoption, which means the dogs never have to deal with the stress kennelling can create ❤️

If you have a spot on the sofa in need of a temporary resident (or permanent, if you fall in love! 🥰) please drop me a message or contact Second Chance Spaniel Rescue

Most of these dogs have been surrendered at no fault of their own, and the rescue are excellent at matching you with a dog that you will adore, whether thats a sofa slob or an athlete as mad as you are! 😍🤪

🌞🌞🌞 I hope you are all enjoying this delightful Bank Holiday! 🌞🌞🌞

A reminder in this glorious sunshine that missing a walk won't kill your dog, but a walk in the heat of today just might! We are reading temperatures of 35 degrees on the mountain today and still rising, with very little shade or wind, I imagine many other popular walking spots will be the same!

Our pups are all enjoying the cool of the kitchen floor and are in and out of the pond 🐸, they'll get a walk after dinner when its significantly cooler!

Dogs with short faces and thick coats are especially at risk, and puppies too.

If your dog is panting excessively, and seems to be struggling to cool down, remember WET THEN VET!!! (Tap water temp is fine, a thorough soaking is more important than the temperature of the water)

Time is of the essence, a closer vet may be a better option. Dont wait, I think I speak for all vets when I say we would much rather be able to send you home for overreacting than send you home without your best friend.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO PET PASSPORTS!
If you are using a European Pet Passport to travel to Europe with your dog, this will not be permitted from 22/4/26 if you are a resident of GB, and an Animal Health Certificate will be required.
If you need a certificate, feel free to drop me a message.

Although why you'd want to leave this I'm not sure!
