We recently had the pleasure of looking after Ronnie, who visited us for a dental procedure.

Ronnie was a real character and certainly knew how to make himself at home! He loved all the attention he could get and was particularly fond of plenty of head scratches.

Dental care is an important part of your pet’s overall health and wellbeing. Dental disease is common in cats and can lead to discomfort, inflammation, bad breath and more serious problems if left untreated.

We wish Ronnie a smooth and speedy recovery.

The very cute Otto visited us for his second vaccinations last week!

Vaccinations are an important part of your puppy’s preventative healthcare. They help protect against a number of serious and potentially life-threatening diseases, as well as helping to reduce the spread of infectious disease to other dogs.

Last week, we welcomed a lovely group of new puppies to their first Puppy Party!

This session gave the puppies an opportunity to meet one another and become familiar with our practice environment and consult rooms. Positive experiences from an early age can help puppies develop confidence when visiting the vet in the future.

We also spent time discussing some of the common challenges that come with having a new puppy.

We look forward to seeing our new recruits again this week.

Lovely Bear recently visited us for surgical removal of a mass.

We commonly see lumps and bumps develop in our senior patients. Whilst many are benign it’s always worth getting any new or changing lump checked by one of our vets so we can decide the best course of action for your pet.

Yesterday, Barrow visited us with his best mate Baxter for his monthly osteoarthritis injection.

As always, Barrow was very brave and full of tail wags, especially when the treats came out afterwards! 🐾

It’s great to see him staying comfortable and enjoying life, with Baxter by his side.

We look forward to seeing them both again next month.
