This perfect pair named Cooper and Bowie came to see us for their dental procedures and were the most cuddly cuties ♥️♥️

Amazing Registered Veterinary Nurse Katie was their dedicated nurse for the day, although we all got to give them snuggles 🥰

We can’t wait to see them for their post dental checks ♥️

If you are concerned about your pets dental hygiene we are only a phone 📞 call away.

Things you may see if you’re pet has a dental issue

* bad breath, excessive drooling,
* blood-stained saliva
* change in eating habits, they may prefer soft food to their normal biscuits
* red or swollen gums
* discolouration of the teeth. Plaque is a sticky, colourless build-up on the teeth. Plaque can then lead to tartar (a hard white to brown coating that causes dental disease)
* swelling on the face
* pawing at or rubbing their mouth or face
* fractured, visibly loose or missing teeth

🎃👻 No itchy monsters for this little pumpkin!🐾🧡

Our cheeky chappy Lupin came in to see us for his monthly weight check before his flea and worm prevention treatment! 🥰

🐶 Why do we weigh puppies every month?

Puppies grow so quickly, and keeping track of their weight helps us make sure they're receiving the correct dose of their flea and worm prevention as they get bigger. This helps keep those pesky parasites away and our little ones protected as they grow! 🐛🚫

🎃 The best treat of all? Being a VIP! 🎃

With our VIP Health Plans, flea and worm prevention treatments are included, helping to spread the cost and save you those extra expenses!

💰 Saving money is no trick, it's a treat! Which means Lupin's humans might just have a little extra to spoil this handsome boy with a few more treats! 🦴😉

Want to find out more about our VIP Health Plans and how we can help keep your pets protected all year round? Give our friendly team at Lakeview Vets a call! 🧡

Happy Howl-o-ween from all of us at Lakeview Vets! 🎃🐾

Sweet Dolly recently came to see us at Lakeview Vets for some dental treatment, and just look at this gorgeous girl! 🥰💚 She was in lovely hands with our caring team, who were on hand to make sure she received the care she needed.

✔️ Brush their teeth regularly with a dog-friendly toothbrush and toothpaste.

🐾💚 Meet the Dynamic Duo – Mog & Ziggy!💚 🐾

Just look at these two handsome boys! 😍 Mog and Ziggy came to see us for their routine neutering, and these gorgeous brothers completely stole our hearts! 💚

Both boys are British Shorthairs, and we just couldn’t get over their beautiful colouring. 😻 Those golden eyes and gorgeous coats had us completely hooked!

🩺 Why is neutering important?

Neutering your cat can have lots of benefits, including helping to:

🐱 Prevent unwanted litters
🐱 Reduce roaming and the urge to wander in search of a mate
🐱 Reduce urine spraying and some territorial behaviours
🐱 Prevent testicular disease and reduce certain health risks
🐱 Help reduce the number of unwanted cats and kittens needing homes

Mog and Ziggy were both absolute superstars and are now on their way to recovering at home together. 🥰

If your cat is due to be neutered, or you'd like to chat to us about what's involved, get in touch with the Lakeview Vets team! 📞🐾

📍 Pop into the practice
📞 Give us a call 01304 357751

Our friendly team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Well done, Mog & Ziggy! What a pair! 💚🐾

🐾 Storm’s Final Stitch! 🐾

Beautiful Storm popped back in to see us after previously undergoing multiple mass removal surgery. Thankfully, she was back for something much simpler this time — having her last remaining stitch removed! ✂️💚

Our lovely Head Nurse Jules was more than happy to help Storm with her final little check-up.

Storm was such a good girl! Although she was a very wiggly patient 😂, she managed to keep nice and still while Mummy held her and Jules carefully removed the last stitch.

It was wonderful to see that all of Storm’s wounds had healed beautifully, and she was as happy and gorgeous as ever! 🥰🐶

Well done, Storm — you’re officially all healed! 🎉🐾💚

💚🐾 Roxy’s Road to Recovery! 🐾💚

Beautiful Roxy the Rottweiler found herself needing emergency surgery after catching one of her rear dewclaws one day. Unfortunately, the initial surgery wasn’t successful, and her wound needed some extra TLC to get things back under control.

🩺Our lovely vet Ewa decided it was time to start fresh. The wound was carefully cleaned and debrided before being stitched back together. Roxy’s leg was then bandaged, and she was sent home with one very important instruction… REST! 🛑😂

🚫That meant no zoomies, no bouncing around and definitely no showing off those Rottie springs for a few weeks!

Our student vet nurse Kirsty was one of the nurses helping with Roxy’s weekly bandage changes, and we were so pleased to see her wound gradually improving week by week. 💚

As you can see from the photos, Roxy’s progress has been fantastic, and last week she was finally given the all-clear! 🎉

She’s now officially free to get back to running around and being the big, bouncy girl she is! 🐕💨

Well done, Roxy! What a superstar! 🥰🐾

🦷✨ Tilly’s Dental Day! ✨🦷

Say hello to beautiful Tilly, the gorgeous Sphynx cat who came in to see us today for her dental! 🐱💗

Tilly needed a couple of teeth removed, along with a thorough clean and polish to help keep her mouth healthy and comfortable. 🦷✨

Just like us, cats can suffer from plaque and tartar build-up, which can lead to gum disease, painful teeth and other oral health problems. Regular dental checks are an important part of keeping our feline friends happy and healthy, and sometimes a professional clean is needed to give those teeth a fresh start! 🥰

🌎 Did you know?
Despite their exotic appearance, Sphynx cats originated in Canada in the 1960s, when a hairless kitten was born in Toronto. The breed was then carefully developed over time, becoming the distinctive, affectionate cats we know today! 🇨🇦🐾

And Tilly certainly lived up to the Sphynx reputation for being loving and people-oriented! 💕 She was such a sweetheart throughout her visit and was very happy to have some cuddles with our amazing Head Nurse Jules while recovering after her dental. 🥹💗

We hope you feel much more comfortable now, Tilly! 🐾🦷💕

Perfect Penny❤️ completely melt our hearts today when she came in for neutering today, she was an absolute star ⭐️ and just loved all the attention from all of us 🥰

We can’t wait to see this beautiful girl for her post operative checks 🥰

Neutering your female pet avoids the risk of suffering from a condition known as pyometra this is a very serious infection of the womb, also known as the 'uterus' that can be fatal for female dogs that have not been spayed
