On a hen do and this little guy flew into the patio doors and knocked himself out. I scooped him up and held him until he'd recovered and then he flew off. Good deed done for the day! 🐦‍⬛❤️

What a week! Still no van, but we have managed! Unfortunately, we weren't fortunate enough to dodge that down pour yesterday morning and got absolutely SATURATED! I was grumpy after that walk, so had to eat three mini twixs to make myself feel better 🤣
We did get a rainbow on our 6.45am walk!

Ok, admittedly I DID complain about the heat and I may or may not have said 'I'd take rain over this' several times BUT I'm sorry, I take it back! Could we have maybe just had a bit of a cloud and a slight breeze instead?! I don't want wet! 😭😭😭 I think the dogs will probably prefer these conditions over hot and humid, well maybe with the exception of Millie the sausage! Lol

A round up of the week's activity since Wednesday. We have made it to Sunday, despite still not having a vehicle and the insane heat/humidity! I've been out for walks every day, starting at 6.30am and often finishing at 9/9.30pm. I would NEVER prioritise my needs over the dogs, so 3/4 walks per day, early starts and late finishes and generally feeling totally exhausted both physically and mentally is absolutely worth it! I can rest easy knowing I have given my best to every single dog I am fortunate enough to be entrusted with.
Someone said to me recently 'you're really passionate about your job, aren't you?' and I suppose that's a pretty astute observation. I worked in a bank for 11 years, I was not passionate about that AT ALL. I worked in restaurants/bars/night clubs/theatres etc for 15 years and as much as I loved that world, I wasn't passionate about it. But I cannot begin to describe how much I love what I do now and how fortunate I feel that I created Pawsome, that it's thriving and that it's approaching it's 10th year of business.

Anyway, enough about me...show some love for Luca, Rex, Milo, Mini Milo, Mabel, Digby, Millie, Monty, Scotch, Rolo, Louie, Peanut, Denzel and Roo!

I won't lie to you all, I'm feeling a bit fed up! I've walked over 90 miles this past week and a lot of those miles have meant very early starts and lots of late night walks. I'm fed up of being van-less, I'm fed up of the heat and I'm fed up with the same walks BUT happy doggos definitely take the edge off my 'feduppiness'. I've not taken as many pics the last few days as I've been fed up, have I mentioned that? Lol
Anyway, enough of me moaning, here are some doggos 😁

I'm looking for a van or large ish car on loan, obviously suitable for the transportation of dogs, if anyone knows of anything.
