Bosley came for his first big boy groom today. He is nearly 2 years old.
He was really stressed to start with.
With kindness, patience and treats and introducing everything very slowly in a posistive way and no force, we got through the whole groom and played a game in the garden after. I am so proud of Bosley he was an absolute super star 🌟 🤩

POST UPDATE Have started this journey this morning of home cooked food for Belle, I will post how it goes and if she likes it. 7 hours on slow to cook.
I shall work out the costs too, if anyone is interested. Fresh healthy food for Belle 🐾🐾

After cooking and cooling, I weighed 200grms per day for Belle's weight 9kg and got 7 days meals from it, I will give her scrumbles biscuits aswell, so she's not missing important minerals, the cost of ingredients £5.00, less than a £1 a day

This little guy I have known for 8 years, Mr. Budlington, he has cushings and diabetis, plus acid reflux.
I have devoted myself to him for the last two weeks, insulin injections 7 am and 7 pm plus his medication for cushings and reflux.
Making sure he had eaten before his insulin, was really important.
He has been a little star and eaten his breakfast/dinner and then pops into my doggy cabin waiting for his liver paste and tablets and is happy for his injection
After a lovely bath this morning, Mr. Bud is back in the arms of his lovely mummies today, and you know what I shall have a sleep in in the morning 😴

Belle just loves Dawlish Country Side Park, it fulfills all her breeds instincts, running, hunting and sniffing, it really tires her out. The only sighting of her in the long wheat is her tail. I love to vary her walks, from the beach where she can swim and fetch her ball, to long lead walks in different places, I always let her take the route she wants, she loves a swim in the brook, but the country park off lead is the best for her, along with her mantrailing and scent work. The country park is so safe for her, although she does have a tractive.
