ARTHUR'S BRUSH WITH COLIC - I've been around doing jobs today going back and forth and all of a sudden I came to find Arthur lying down next to the gateway. He was having a look back towards his belly. 🙈

Thankfully I caught things very early and got together the kit I use to help - the stethoscope showed he had gut sounds in all areas and his heart beat was still well within normal ranges - so that was good news. I set to work with the Photonic Health lights and some essential oils. It always amazes me how quickly this helps. By the 20-30 minute mark everything calmed and there was no more rolling. Arthur helps show me where to place the lights to best effect.

As I was treating Arthur a dogwalker went by and saw that I was working on Arthur and by the time they came back from their walk they could see he was "fixed" - me sat on the floor just outside and we had a chat as they'd never seen anything like this before. Whilst we were talking Arthur had a watery, sloppy mash with some Hempine in it...Making sure he had plenty of hydration...
..Observations/Monitoring this afternoon he continued to be fine and was back to trying to steal everyone else's dinner by evening dinners...
..It's going to be one of those mysteries because he hasn't been fed/eaten anything different and there is definitely not enough to over indulge on, and they had plenty of water. It's great that we could self treat on this occasion - but as always if his vitals had been different or my treatment wasn't working I'd be straight on the phone to the vets! Fingers crossed he stays OK now!

Was a super day lots of cake and yummy goodies 🐾🌸💕

The ponies are certainly very resilient and are still managing to find something out there! I still have a field of foggage I've saved but I'd really like to go a little bit further into August before we set into that!

Friday was a very special day for us as Faye and Fraser dog went on expedition for a day out (still between pony jobs of course) - to meet up with Debbie Wise at a very special location...And Fraser dog had the picnic of his dreams!! 🐾🐕🍰 It has been such a long time that we've had a day like this - honestly, probably years and so it was a really important thing to do. Thank you Debbie Wise 💗

We need to say a big thank you to Malcolm too as he stopped off to give us sponsorship money for Eb which we are incredibly grateful for - and he brought us some water for emergencies too, which was very kind and thoughtful of him! Thank you very much Malcolm 🙏🙏🙏
