Soppy post incoming🤣

One month today since Poodle Paws officially opened its doors at Heart of the Shires, and what a month it has been! 🤍

Here is just a tiny section of the month I have had and honestly have loved every single day🥰
There has never been a day where I have dreaded coming to work as I know I am always happily greeted by your beautiful babies🥲

I honestly cannot thank you all enough for the continued support, recommendations, kind messages, and lovely words I receive every single day. Every appointment booked, every comment, every share, and every bit of encouragement means more than you could ever know.

Whether you've been supporting me since the very beginning, have already visited the salon, or are still waiting for your appointment day to come around, I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

I've never been as happy as I am right now. Owning my own salon is everything and more than I dreamed it would be when I was a little girl, and I'm so grateful that I get to do what I love every single day.

Here's to the first month at Heart of the Shires, and to many more memories, wagging tails, and beautiful grooms to come. Thank you for being part of this journey!

This gorgeous girl Winnie came in for a full groom and de shed recently and WOW did she leave looking (and feeling) amazing 🥰

Frenchies may have short coats but they definitely know how to shed 😅 the amount of hair that came out was unbelievable! After a really good bath, blow dry and deshed treatment, her coat was left super soft and shiney!✨

She was an absolute angel for the whole groom and kept me entertained with the cutest head tilts and funny little faces the entire time, can’t wait to see you again Winnie🤩🫶🏼

Honestly, this girl never fails to take a good picture… she knows exactly how to work the camera😉
I may be slightly biased, but poodles really are one of my absolute favourite breeds to groom. Their coats are amazing to work with and they always look so elegant afterwards! But of course, I love grooming all breeds equally… every doggo that comes through the salon has my heart🤩🤍

Meet Nacha, the teeniest, tiniest Maltipoo puppy!
She came in for her very first puppy groom yesterday and took everything completely in her stride!

Her parents have clearly put in the work getting her used to the grooming process at home, and it really shows. Such a calm, confident little pup🥹🥲

I’ve had quite a few of you ask recently what products I use on your fur babies during their grooms, so I thought I’d share my go-to 🤍

I absolutely love Peanut and Pickle. Their products are designed specifically for professional grooming, with everything from shampoos and conditioners to perfumes and spa treatments, so your pups not only look amazing but smell incredible too 🫧✨

What I love most about the brand is what goes into (and doesn’t go into) their products. They focus on high-quality, gentle ingredients and offer options for things like sensitive skin, de-shedding and conditioning, meaning every coat gets exactly what it needs 🐶

They’re also vegan and cruelty free, which means no animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing, which is something that’s really important to me when choosing what to use on your dogs. On top of that, many of their products are formulated to be kind to your dog’s skin and coat, making them perfect for regular grooming without irritation ✨

Sorry for the delayed Christmas post, I hope you all had a lovely day. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my small business over the past year, it truly means more than I can say.

I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the generosity shown over the past month, from kind words to thoughtful gifts and generous tips. It’s honestly been so appreciated and never taken for granted.
