I absolutely hate having to do this, but unfortunately Iāve had to address an increasing number of late drop-offs and pick-ups.
As a 1:1 dog groomer, I rely on everyone arriving on time. I allow 15 minutes between each appointment specifically to make sure dogs donāt overlap, and I also send a 15-minute text reminder when your dog is ready for collection.
Unfortunately, Iām a dog groomer and not a dog sitter, and when dogs are collected late it can mean they are waiting around while Iām trying to groom the next dog. This can be stressful for the dogs and also puts me behind with the next appointment!
I completely understand that things can happen and occasionally you may be held up, just please let me know as soon as possible if youāre running late. š«¶š¼
I have always had a clause within my terms and conditions stating that a late collection fee may be charged, but I havenāt been strict about enforcing this.
Unfortunately, going forward I will now need to start enforcing this policy where necessary.
Please make sure you arrive on time for both drop-off and collection so I can keep things running smoothly, avoid dogs overlapping and most importantly, make sure every dog gets the calm and stress-free experience they deserve. š¶š¤
