Could your pet be trying to tell you they need a dental?

Dental problems aren’t always obvious, but there are a few signs worth keeping an eye out for:
🤢 Persistent bad breath
🦷 Yellow or brown tartar build-up
🔴 Red, sore or bleeding gums
🥣 Difficulty eating or chewing on one side
💧 Excessive drooling
🐾 Pawing or rubbing at their mouth
😿 Changes in behaviour or reluctance to eat

Dental disease can be uncomfortable and may worsen if left untreated, so don’t ignore those little warning signs.
If something doesn’t look quite right, get in touch with Vets on the Meowve. We can assess your pet and discuss the best next steps for keeping their teeth and gums healthy. 💙🚐

Pets are incredibly good at masking pain and discomfort. In fact, many owners are surprised to discover that what they thought was “just getting older” was actually a health condition that could be treated.
