👶 🐾☕ Maternity Dog Meet-Up ☕️ 🐾 👶
I’ve been thinking about bringing the dog meet-ups back, but most people don’t finish work till around 5pm so it’s going to be around my baby’s bedtime routine and I’m just not ready to leave my baby for her bedtime routine just yet! But I am still considering these and I don’t think it will be long till I start them up!
So I’ve thought of maternity dog meet ups! My baby is 7 months soon don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier but never mind! 😅
Since becoming a mum, I’ve realised just how hard it can be to get out of the house. You’re constantly thinking about feeding times, nap times, nappy changes… and somehow trying to get yourself ready too! Some days, just getting out of the front door feels like an achievement.
Then there’s the mum guilt when you have a dog. You want to give them the same attention and exercise they had before the baby arrived, but the reality is, it’s not always easy. You’re doing your best, but sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
So it got me thinking…
What if we had a Maternity Dog Meet-Up? 🐶👶
A relaxed hour in the enclosed dog park where the dogs can run, play and burn off some energy while we have a tea or coffee, chat about motherhood (the highs, the hard bits, and everything in between), and hopefully make some new mum friends.
No pressure. No judgement. If your baby’s crying, needs feeding, needs changing, or falls asleep in the pram, that’s completely fine because we’ve all been there!
It’ll be £6 per session, probably for around 45 minutes or an hour with tea and coffee included, and your dog gets the freedom to run safely while you get out of the house and spend some time with people who get it!

I’d love for it to become more than just a dog meet-up, a little community where mums can get out of the house, have a cuppa and a chat with people who understand, babies can enjoy the fresh air, watch the world go by (or sleep through the whole thing!), and the dogs can burn off some energy and have lots of fun. 🐾☕🤍
