🐾 Meet Gizmo 🐾

Gizmo recently visited us after his owner noticed he had come home with a poorly tail 💙🐱

While he was here for a check over, Gizmo quickly made himself comfortable and decided our vet Yasmin was the perfect place for cuddles and attention 🥹

Despite not feeling his best, he was such a friendly and affectionate boy throughout his visit, and the team absolutely adored him!

We hope handsome Gizmo is feeling much more comfortable and enjoying lots of rest at home 🐾

🐾 Meet Bee 🐾

Some of you may remember gorgeous little Bee from her 2nd vaccination visit… and now she’s all grown up and back with us for her spay! 💙🐱

Bee was such a brave girl throughout her stay and looked incredibly cosy recovering in her little bed afterwards 🥹

It’s always lovely seeing our patients grow from tiny kittens into confident young cats, and the team were so happy to see Bee again! ✨

We hope Bee enjoys lots of cuddles, treats and rest while she recovers at home 🐾

🐾 Meet Guza 🐾

Guza visited us recently for his castration and was such a brave little patient throughout the day 💙

Although he spent some time tucked away in his cosy hideaway recovering, he soon popped his head out for some fuss and cuddles from our vet Amy 🥹🐱

We always aim to make your pet’s stay with us as calm and comfortable as possible, with plenty of love, soft bedding and tasty treats along the way!

Wishing handsome Guza a speedy recovery and lots of cuddles at home 🐾

⚠️ Graphic Image Warning ⚠️

🐾💙 Meet Lily 💙🐾

Lily became a familiar face with our nursing team after undergoing surgery to remove a large mammary mass.

Unfortunately, her healing journey wasn’t completely straightforward and she required some additional wound care, regular check-ups and lots of support while everything healed 🩺

Our nurses worked closely with Lily and her owner throughout her recovery, helping monitor the wound and ensuring she stayed comfortable every step of the way 💙

These photos show the incredible healing progression over time, from the initial complications through to a beautifully healed result ✨

We’re so pleased to see Lily now doing brilliantly and back to her happy self 🐶

A huge well done to Lily for being such a superstar patient throughout all of her visits 🥹

🐾 National Microchipping Month 🐾

Did you know it is a legal requirement for dogs and cats to be microchipped with up-to-date contact details? 💙

A microchip is one of the simplest ways to help your pet find their way back home if they ever become lost. However, the chip only works if your details are correct 📱🏡

Have you:
✔️ Changed phone number?
✔️ Moved house?
✔️ Changed ownership details?

If so, it may be time to update your pet’s microchip information!

We can also help check if your pet’s chip is working correctly and discuss booking appointments for pets who still need to be microchipped 🐶🐱

Please contact the practice if you would like any advice or assistance regarding your pet’s microchip 💙

🐾💚 Veterinary Nurse Appreciation Month 💚🐾

Part 4 of 4️⃣

Veterinary nursing is a career full of opportunity, growth and variety. From clinical nursing and specialist referrals, to teaching, leadership, research and rehabilitation, the profession offers so many different pathways. 🌟

Veterinary nurses continue to develop throughout their careers, gaining additional qualifications, exploring specialist interests and taking on roles that help shape the future of animal care.

Whether working in practice, supporting students, leading teams or advancing patient care through further study, veterinary nurses play an essential role across the profession every single day. 🐶🐱🐰

As we finish our Veterinary Nurse Appreciation Month series, we want to say a huge thank you to every veterinary nurse and student nurse for the compassion, knowledge and dedication you bring to your patients, clients and teams. 💚

🐦💙 Wildlife — We’re Here To Help 💙🐦

If you ever come across an injured or unwell wild animal, please don’t hesitate to give us a call for advice ☎️

Our team can provide initial medical care for wildlife where needed, and we also work closely with local wildlife charities and rehabilitators to help ensure animals receive the ongoing care and rehabilitation they need 🦔🕊️

It’s always best to contact a veterinary practice or wildlife rescue before attempting to intervene yourself, as some animals may simply be stunned, nesting nearby or require specialist handling.

Thank you to our lovely team for always helping care for wildlife patients that come through our doors 💙
