It’s time to talk about our Puppy Fundamentals Classes! 👏🏼

We don’t just want to teach your puppy to sit and lie down. We want to help you raise a calm, confident dog who can navigate the world without frustration or fear.
At Wuffalo, we use the same foundations that we build with our Aggression Therapy Dogs to help puppies develop the skills they need from day one.

🐾 Proper off-lead socialisation and play
🐾 Calm behaviour around other dogs
🐾 Recall, stay and loose-lead walking
🐾 Building confidence and resilience
🐾 Helping prevent common behavioural issues before they develop.

And one of the biggest things we teach? No on-lead greetings! We want to build puppies who can be around other dogs without feeling that they have to interact with every single one. 👏🏼

Whether you have a working breed, a family pet or a puppy who is already showing signs of frustration, or you simply want to set your puppy up for life; getting those foundations right early can make a HUGE difference.

Meet Willow 😍

8-week-old GSP and what a beautiful girl she is!

I went to meet Willow the day after she arrived home, and during her Puppy Foundation session, I gave her owners some crucial information that EVERY puppy owner needs to know when bringing a puppy home. Getting things right from day one makes such a difference!

I’m really looking forward to being a big part of this girl’s journey. I absolutely LOVE a Pointer, and I love seeing owners who take the time to research their puppy’s lines and choose a genuinely good breeder. 👌

Well done, guys! She’s going to be a credit to you. ❤️

Meet Judah 🐾

This GSD came to us this week for an aggression assessment, and what a session we had!

Judah hadn’t been walked in over 7 months after pulling his owner over and chasing and attacking a Spaniel.

He’d seen three trainers previously and had been reactive from day one.

For seven months, his world had been incredibly restricted because of his behaviour.

During his assessment, Judah did something he had NEVER done before — he was off lead around other dogs for the very first time.

And in just two hours, we made some real progress.

🐾 We identified the underlying causes of his reactivity.

🐾 We went from a dog who dragged his owner on lead to a dog who could calmly walk past other dogs.

🐾 He began making better choices around Whisper and Noodle, our Aggression Therapy Dogs.

This is why we believe in looking beyond the reaction and understanding what is driving the behaviour. Simply managing or avoiding the problem doesn’t get to the root of it.

I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with Judah. He is a very good dog who deserves the opportunity to experience more of the world, and I’m excited to help him get there.

Judah’s journey is just beginning. ❤️

❤️ THIS ONE TOUCHED US. ❤️

Tommy, the crossbreed rescue from Bulgaria 🇧🇬🐾

Tommy came to us at the beginning of September, riddled with anxiety. The smallest things petrified him, busy environments caused him to shut down, and his reactions to people and dogs were a real concern for his owners.

He couldn’t even be examined by a vet.

Fast forward just ONE MONTH, and look at him now! 🥹❤️

🐾 Tommy now FALLS ASLEEP when does physio with him.

🐾 He can walk through busy places much more comfortably.

🐾 He gets picked up by Lisa, one of our dog walkers, every week for a social day at Wuffalo Park, where he is absolutely perfect and has the time of his life!

At neutrality last week, his owner told me Tommy has started becoming a little cheeky! His previously perfect recall is slipping, and he’s even jumping up at counters. 😂

Usually, these are things I don’t like hearing, BUT WITH TOMMY, I AM OVER THE MOON!

Why? Because this boy is finally finding his confidence and showing his personality. ❤️ We can work on the cheeky habits, but seeing him feel comfortable enough to explore the world is just incredible.

I also want to say a HUGE WELL DONE to Tommy’s owner. Your perseverance throughout his life, your commitment to him and your determination to help him are just brilliant. You are amazing, and Tommy is so lucky to have you in his corner. ❤️

This is why we do what we do. It’s not just about changing behaviour; it’s about helping dogs feel safe enough to live a happier, more confident life.

Two weeks ago, we announced that our team of Aggression Therapy Dogs will be growing… BUT who will be the newest member of the Wuffalo family? 👀🐶

🐾 And SHE is a SHE! 💗

Eeeee! Life is about to get even MORE hectic, but I honestly cannot wait to welcome this special breed into the Wuffalo family! 🥰

And here’s another exciting little detail… she will be the VERY FIRST Aggression Therapy Dog of her breed! 😱👏

Exciting times ahead, and I cannot wait to share this journey with you all! ❤️

🎉 HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, RAGNA! 🎉❤️

Ragna has been with us since day dot and was one of the first dog walking clients I took on when Wuffalo was just me, a one-woman band! 🐾

After over a year of solo walks, we decided it was time to brave it and see if we could get this pony into the van! 🤣 Well, it took a little bit of perseverance, but now she knows exactly where she’s going and practically drags us to get in! (Plus, she now has her very own bespoke cage in our big van! 👑)

Great Danes really are such a brilliant breed, and Ragna is the perfect example of why we love them so much! ❤️ She is literally Scooby-Doo in real life! 😂 The size, the character and that gentle, lovable nature.💕

Since joining our group walks, Ragna’s confidence has grown massively, not just around all the other dogs but with us, too. She really is the gentlest giant, and watching her blossom has been so lovely.

We absolutely love this girl to bits, and she is such an asset to the Wuffalo pack. 🐶❤️

A huge thank you to Ragna and her lovely owner for choosing us right from the start. Your continued support means so much, and we couldn’t be happier to have this beautiful girl as part of our pack!
