A beautiful example of two catteries, Alessio Pasquini N**elook and Amanda Brass RunaSoul Sphynx RunaSoul, working together with a shared commitment to the preservation and future of our breed.

Our breed is facing serious challenges, and its future is increasingly uncertain. I am deeply concerned that, without meaningful and responsible change, we could face ever stricter restrictions or even a potential ban in the UK and across Europe within the next four years.

This is precisely why responsible breeding matters more than ever.

If we genuinely care about preserving our breed, we must put the health, welfare and quality of life of our cats first. This means appropriate health testing, informed and responsible breeding decisions, proper veterinary care, and ensuring that kittens are fully ready to leave for their new homes at an appropriate age.

We must be willing to learn, improve our practices and work together towards higher standards. Collaboration between responsible breeders is a positive step towards protecting the future of our cats.

We should all share the same goals: healthy cats, ethical breeding, high welfare standards and a sustainable future for our breed.

This is bigger than personal disputes, competition or individual egos. It is about the animals we love, the responsibility we carry as breeders, and the legacy we leave for future generations.

Facts matter. Health matters. Welfare matters. Responsible breeding matters.

If we fail to take meaningful responsibility now, we risk losing the very breed we claim to love and protect.

Let us work together, support responsible breeding, and give our breed the best possible chance of a healthy and sustainable future. ❤️🐾
