Would you like your dogs paw prints on our consult room walls?

Choose your favourite colour, let your dog enjoy a pup cup and we will display their art work on our wall. Pet friendly supplies used of course!

We will write your pets name underneath their art too 🐾 🎨

Please call us to arrange or comment below and we can contact you.

For any dogs who are dog reactive or nervous, we will book a slot during our β€œquieter” time of day. So they can enjoy a fun, stress free experience too ❀️

This gorgeous boy is Mac, enjoying his new toys after eating some raisins, which caused him a visit to us today!

Raisins (and grapes!) are toxic to dogs. Even a tiny amount can lead to complex issues like sudden kidney failure. Some other ones to watch out for are;

🍫 Chocolate – Contains theobromine, which dogs can’t process properly

πŸ§… Onions, garlic & chives

πŸ₯‘ Avocado

🌽 Corn cobs – Not toxic, but a major blockage risk

πŸ’ Cherries – Pits contain cyanide and can also cause choking

🍬 Xylitol (artificial sweetener) – Found in sugar-free gum/sweets; extremely dangerous

πŸ₯” Raw potatoes – Contain solanine, especially when green

πŸ„ Wild mushrooms – Some varieties are highly toxic

If you think your dog may have eaten something it shouldn’t have, you can always give us a call or pop into the practice and we’d be happy to chat about it 🐾!

Important update Saturday 18th April:

Due to staffing issues, we will not have a vet on site this Saturday morning (18th April). Our nurse and receptionist are here for anyone who needs to collect medication or book routine appointments for next week. If you feel your pet needs to be seen urgently, please call us as normal and our nurse will organise for you to be seen by our sister practice, West end vets in tollcross.

Thank you for your understanding.
