🐾Monday madness 🐾

Our morning walk was the usual crew — Dexter, Teddy and Covie — joined by the handsome Vincent, fresh off his overnight trial with us! He had a wee whine through the night, but a cuddle and some reassurance and he was back off to sleep like a champ 🐶💤

Then it was puppy Heaven for me — not one, not two, but THREE puppy pop-ins this morning 🤗🥰

First up, the gorgeous Penny — this girl loves a cuddle and a hand for a chew. Penny is such a sweetie and has a gorgeous personality coming on. We had a wee walk, then back home for some play and cuddles.

Next up, beautiful Bonnie, who is getting so big too! She’s got the most beautiful personality and loves a cuddle. We had a wee p*e break in the garden with big brother Paddy and big sis Poppy joining in, then me and Bonnie headed off for a wee walk. Back home for more cuddles before it was time to say goodbye ☹️ Last but by no means least, the handsome Duke 👑 — these pups are doubling in size every week 😭. We headed out for a walk and this lad is doing amazing, loves meeting new people and dogs. Back home for lots of cuddles before he was off for a nap. 💤

Lunchtime walk saw Vincent join us again along with Alfie and Cooper 🐕🐕🐕. Alfie and Cooper are as daft as each other, paying no attention to anyone in their way when it comes to a good rough and tumble — including me! 🤦‍♀️ Luckily we never bumped into anyone. We had a fab walk through the woods with a dip in the river, before they all decided they wanted the same stick 🤣 — grounded from that game!

Then it was back for our second visit to Penny — it was pouring down ☔ so lots of play and enrichment inside, with a wee dash to the garden for play and p*es when there was a gap in the rain.

Then it was time to chauffeur Vincent home to his pawrents 🚗 — but he’ll be back soon! ☺️

He’s a Staffy cross Dachshund 🐕, and he’s here for a trial night ahead of a full boarding stay 🏡. Fun fact — he’s named after Vincent van Gogh 🎨, because he’s missing half of his right ear! 😆👂

Trial nights are compulsory here at Braw Paws ✅ — they let new dogs meet my own crew in their own environment and make sure everyone gets along nicely . We know one night doesn’t show a dog’s whole personality, but it’s a great wee chance to check things click with my dogs, and let him have a sniff around and settle into our home before his proper boarding stay 💕🐶

🎉🐾 Happy 3rd Birthday to our Teddy! 🐾🎉

We don’t know his exact birthdate — back in March we were told he was somewhere between 2 and 3, so we settled on 2½ as a ballpark. Our daughter Emalee decided Teddy should share her birthday, so today’s the day — officially his 3rd!

Teddy’s been through so much, but he’s thrived, and come out the other side stronger, happier, and content. He’s settled into our family so completely it feels like he’s just always been here.

We love you so much, Teddy. Here’s to many more birthdays, wee man 🥳🐶💛

🐾Friday pup date! 🐾 Happy Friday everyone!

Our morning crew was my very own Teddy and Covie, joined by the three mad cocker spaniels Dexter, Sonny and Bruno — a wee stroll through the woods followed by some mad chases out in the field 😄

Next up, cuddles with Penny 🥰 We took her for a wee walk but she wasn’t overly keen with it being quite windy, so back home for some snuffle ball enrichment and play, then cuddles to settle her down.

Then, handsome Ralph! This boy might be small but he’s on a mission on his walks, sniffing out stray leftovers anywhere he can find them 🤣 Finished off with a few good body rolls in the grass.

Rounding off the day with an evening visit to the gorgeous Ivy 🐍 It was feeding day today, so after a nice wee cuddle (grip included!) she struck down her dinner super fast then took herself off for a snooze.

Braw day all round, happy Friday! 🐶🎉.

🐾 Thursday troops 🐾

What a busy Thursday with our Braw Paws gang! 🐶❤️

We started off with morning walks with Dexter, Teddy, Covie and Sonny, who is with us for one more night. Lots of fun, plenty of exploring and a good swim for some of them! 💦🐾

Then it was off to see handsome lad Duke for some serious pup cuddles 🥰 This little lad takes everything in his stride! We had a wee walk around the park and he was such a trooper. Lots of sniffing, which is fab for our pups’ mental enrichment and also helps get them nice and sleepy for another nap 😴

Duke takes everything in and is so confident. We had some lovely cuddles when we got back, then it was down for his nap. 🥰💤

Next up was our lunchtime walk with Alfie, the gorgeous Winnie, and we also got to welcome our newest pup to the Braw Paws pack… the handsome Cavalier Spaniel Freddy! 🐾❤️

Freddy was by my side for most of our walk, taking everything in and watching the chaos unfold with Alfie and Winnie. 😂 Those two then decided it was a competition to see who could give me the most kisses… I think Alfie won! 🤣😘

It was then off to the vet for hydrotherapy for our Teddy. 🐾💦

🐾Wednesday Walkies 🐾

Quiet day today… or so we thought! Our morning walk with Dexter, Teddy, Covie and Sonny wasn’t very peaceful at all 😂 Dexter loves the sound of his own bark, and Teddy just had to join in the chorus too!

Then it was off for pup cuddles with Bonnie 😍 Out for a wee stroll then back for some snuffle mat enrichment. We also had the pleasure of her big sister Poppy joining us this time - she’s a wee golden oldie but loved the snuffle mat just as much 🥰

Rounded off the day with a last-minute lunchtime walk to help out a fellow dog walker - off to take Trevor out for a wander. He was an absolute gem, and Sonny joined him for company 🐕

🐾Tuesday Tails 🐾

What a braw day it’s been! And lucky, we managed to miss the rain on every walk 🍀

Started the morning off with the crew - Dexter, Covie, Teddy, Jura and Alfie - for a wee saunter through the woods and a dip in our favourite part of the river 💦 Perfect way to start the day.

Next up was cuddles with Penny 😍 We had a longer stroll this morning and she was an absolute superstar, then back for some play and more cuddles.

Lunchtime brought Handsome Cooper and Sonny - two of the crazy crew who are non-stop from start to finish! Such good lads though, and so much fun to have about.

Then it was back to Penny for round two 🤣 she was well hyped up this afternoon and seems to think hands taste rather nice - cheeky wee madam! Still got plenty of lovely cuddles in though.

Last but by no means least, the superstar Ralph 🌟 What a handsome boy. We had a solo walk down to the woods and he was such a good lad, even had a wee mad turn with some cracking body rolls in the grass 😂

Bittersweet goodbyes today too - we said cheerio to Jura as her stay with us came to an end ☹️ She was an absolute pleasure to have and we’ll miss her! But on the flip side, we’re saying hello to Sonny who’s joining us for a few days ☺️ Welcome, wee man!

🐾Monday Mayhem🐾

Morning walks kicked off with the usual suspects, Dexter, Teddy, Covie and Jura — a wee dander through the woods followed by a good run about at the field. 🌳

Then it was cuddle o’clock with Penny 😍 lots of snuggles, a wee walk and some playtime in the garden. Honestly can’t get enough of those pup cuddles!

Next up, more cuddles with beautiful Bonnie — she’s now on lead walks so we had a wee wander (big brother Paddy was not happy being left behind 🙈). Back home for more cuddles and some play, though Paddy took the huff and wouldn’t join in!

Lunchtime brought the crazy crew — Sonny, Bruno and Cooper — non stop madness from start to finish, not one of them stopped for a breather 😅 hoping for a good sleep in those households tonight!

Rounded off the afternoon back with Penny for visit number two. She’s always a wee bit more tired in the afternoon, so lots of cuddles, a little play and plenty of belly rubs.

And to top it all off, our resident boarder Jura decided enough was enough on the last evening walk — flopped down and would not budge! 🤷‍♀️🤣 Maybe all the day’s excitement finally caught up with her.
