As part of our 100 year celebrations 🎂, we are excited to share some important news. Plans have been submitted for a purpose built site to replace and expand our Leven practice. The new building will more than double our existing appointment capacity, and for the first time bring facilities such as x-ray, surgery, dental and daytime emergency provision on site in Leven. Fingers crossed🤞🤞🤞 planning goes through ok..... very excited to share with you our progress and hope to be open late 2027.

We are delighted to share some exciting news of our very special patient Bowie, who with his owner Amanda, works as a search and rescue dog and has been awarded the BBC Scotland Make a Difference Animal award. Congratulations Bowie, on this well deserved recognition!

💜VETERINARY NURSE AWARENESS MONTH💜

Veterinary nursing is so much more than what people see during appointments. Behind the scenes are years of study, training, exams, and OSCES - often all while trying to make that work - life balance work.

Many student nurses spend over 3 years preparing for exams and OSCES while continuing to care for patients with compassion and professionalism every day.

At Wilson and Partners we are especially proud to be a training practice to support our SVNs working towards their qualifications to become RVNs. Together with our RVNs and ACAs working as a team the patient care provided is second to none and is our upmost priority. Without our nurses this wouldn't be possible.

We are incredibly proud of our nurses here at Wilson's, your hard work and commitment to your career each day does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to have such a supportive and dedicated team💜

❤️‍🩹Ending this month with wound talk!❤️‍🩹

Second intention healing is when a wound heals naturally from the inside out, rather than closure with stitches. Proper care is required to allow the skin to regenerate with healthy tissue, contract and form new skin.
Wound breakdown can be seen commonly in areas which are difficult to close and require more attention. It can be disheartening to see this happen however with the right management, care and attention, the results can be really positive just like this one!
