One for the road charity walk November 2026

The Ham and Jammers are back….

Hi everyone, back in 2024 a group of veterans including myself from the 1st Battalion The Light Infantry walked the Normandy beaches as part of the 80th anniversary of D Day. We walked from Utah Beach to Pegasus Bridge approx 60 miles all in aid of the Ri**es Charity “Care for Casualties”

Well…. We are about to do it all again, but this time we will be walking from Royal Wootton Bassett to Wi******er (approximately 50 miles)….. However, on this walk we will be carrying a stretcher (on the stretcher will be the weight of a battlefield casualty called PTSD).

We will set off from Royal Wootton Bassett on 5th November arriving in Wi******er on 7th November then on 8th November we as a group we will be attending the Festival of Remembrance at Wi******er Cathedral.

We are looking to raise as much money as we can for the Ri**es Charity “Care for Casualties” our overall target is £100,000. If you wish to donate please see the link below or scan the QR Code.

If you do make a donation, no matter how big or small please use my name (John or Shrig) as your reference.

As always thank you for your support…. It means such a lot to us
