“The future of the natural world, on which we all depend, is in our hands.”
— Sir David Attenborough

Today we are celebrating World Animal Day, an international day of action for animal welfare, and something we strive for every day as a veterinary practice.

🐾Today is 🐾
Today we celebrate our dedicated team of receptionists who are often the first friendly voice or face you meet when you contact or visit us here at The Vale. They are the ones who greet you with a smile, listen when you are worried and keep everything running smoothly. Our practices simply couldn't function without them.
Please join us in giving a special shout-out to our reception teams!

🐾 Meet Edward! 🐾

Edward is a rather handsome 3 year old Newfoundland who has been attending our weight clinics since February.

A huge well done to Edward who has lost an amazing 11.5kg in this time! And of course well done to Edward’s owners who have done a fantastic job getting him back to a healthy weight.

Maintaining your pet’s healthy weight is incredibly important to help them live a longer, happier life.

Increased body weight can increase the risk of significant health conditions as arthritis, heart disease and diabetes.

If you would like to talk about your pet’s weight you can book a complimentary nurse consult and follow up weight clinic appointments, which are also free of charge, where our nurses can advise and guide you on diet, nutrition and provide your pet with a personalised dietary plan.
