‼️We’re Hiring at EKW Equestrian ‼️
Possibility of immediate start
📍EKW Equestrian, Staffordshire, ST21 6QB
Part time groom (someone with riding experience would be a bonus!) needed for two or three days a week (days of your choice with the possibility for more for the right candidate) hours 08:00-17:00 with an hour off for lunch.
We are a busy livery and dressage training facility and we pride ourselves with giving high standard care to all our horses and livery clients.
🔹 Duties to include 🔹
- Turnout/fetch in
- General yard work - mucking out, haynets, feeds
- Riding available for the right candidate
🔸 What we need from you 🔸
- Experience and knowledge of handling fit competition horses (along with stallions and youngstock)
- Very high standards of care
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team as well as show initiative when you have sole charge
- Be able to prep horses for riding and care for them after they have been exercised
- Have a can do attitude and be fit as there’s a lot of walking as all our horses get turned out daily
- Riding and exercising including helping with backing/breaking, hacking, lunging, long reining
- LOVE the horses. All the horses are adored and we need someone who is going to treat them all like royalty

We always provide a happy and relaxed atmosphere for our staff and pride ourselves in having a very low staff turnover. We can provide flexible days to suit you and if you can ride to a decent standard there will be riding available for the right candidate to include hacking, backing, schooling and lunging.
Pay will be dependent on experience and there will be the possibility of more hours to the right candidate to cover the yard when we have more horses in work and whilst we’re away at shows and training.
