Poor Rocky! He must have regretted swallowing a bit of his substrate, bless him 😬. All sorted now and he's home safe on a different substrate. The foreign body was removed under local anaesthesia and he should recover over the next few weeks. Lovely to have you with us today Rocky 💕

...and just like that 15 years have passed, where did the time go?! Thank you to everyone who has helped me and supported me along the way, you know who you are and I'll be forever grateful❤️. Oh Rocket, you look absolutely stunning in your shirt 😍 Rocket has been very brave and really good after having surgery last Saturday for a fur ball that got stuck in his intestine. He's doing great and we can't wait to see him again soon for his final post op check. Well done Rocket 👏👏❤️

Beautiful and lovely Custard was a superstar on Friday when she came in for routine spay😍. Today she had her first post-op check and she was such a good girl 👏. You look so good Custard with your shirt on! We can't wait to see you again soon xx

This gorgeous little man had a big op a week ago to remove a foreign body from his intestine and we're very happy to say he's doing great. Little Barsik had his final post -op check today and amazingly we managed to capture him being still for the picture looking pretty 😍

☀️ Heatwave Pet Safety Reminder ☀️

With temperatures rising this week, it’s important to help keep our pets safe and comfortable in the heat 🐾

🐶 Dogs
• Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
• Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• Always provide plenty of fresh water and shaded areas
• Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes

🐱 Cats
• Encourage cats to stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day
• Keep rooms cool with blinds closed and fresh water available in multiple places
• Provide cool resting spots such as tiled floors or damp towels

❄️ Tips to Keep Pets Cool
• Use cooling mats or damp towels
• Offer frozen treats or ice cubes in water
• Keep grooming up to date, but don’t shave coats completely unless advised
• Avoid too much exercise in hot weather

⚠️ Signs of Heatstroke
Please contact your vet immediately if you notice:
• Excessive panting or drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Bright red gums
• Collapse or confusion
