Still on a high from last week’s championship win, team Field House had another fab weekend at West Park for the BRC winter showjumping qualifiers. On Saturday the 70cm team of Helen and Troy, Sarah and Orla, Rachel and Max and Elizabeth and Hugo took 3rd place 🥉. Helen and Troy jumped the ONLY double clear in a super speedy time to win 🥇 individually!!
Today, the 80cm team of Sarah and Archie, Amy and Saffron, Elizabeth and Hugo and Rebekah and Storm flew round to take 2nd place! Rebekah won 🥇 individually and Sarah took 2nd place!
Another set of super results!

Thank you to our volunteers, Eileen, Rebekah, Steve and Sadie for some strict car parking controls on Saturday (I’ve never seen such straight lines 😂) and to Helen, Maggie, Kathryn, Lisa and Rachel N for passport checking today!!

Helen and Joules kick started proceedings on Saturday with 5th place in the Nov 2/90cm individual class.
Sunday morning saw Rachel and Max win 🥇 their prelim/60cm section and Katherine and Troy take 8th, leaving the team in a very strong position going into the afternoon!
Rebekah and Storm took runner up spot 🥈in their section and Amy (a last minute sub for Elizabeth) and Hugo took 8th place! With super placings all round the team then stormed into the lead!

What a fabulous weekend as always! Thank you to everyone who supports team Field House at home and at competitions to allow us to compete!

Well that’s a wrap for Pony Club Championships 2026 for Field House and what a fantastic final championships it’s been!

Novice team dressage started the week off with the team of Elizabeth and Storm, Anna and Georgia, Megan and Campbell, and Amy and Hugo (who was a last minute substitute for Saffron) taking a respectable 26th out of 41 teams.

The girls were determined to move up the placing and that they did on Wednesday in the intermediate competition with the team taking a super 13th out of 40 teams and being the highest placed centre! 🎉 Solid performances from all of the horses and in particular Storm and Elizabeth who took 4th 🥳place individually, narrowly missing out on a place in the ride off.

Wednesday saw Elizabeth and Sarah (as a team manager) taking part in the inaugural Home International Horsemanship Competition which saw all 4 nations battling it out to be crowned champions. Elizabeth’’s team finished 7th whilst Sarah led her team to 3rd place 🥉!

Today, for the final time 😢 Field House competed as a Pony Club Centre in the Senior H&P Care taking 11th place and once again being the highest placed centre! Elizabeth, Laura and Megan put in super performances in some very tough rounds.

Huge thank you to Rebekah, Gemma and Alison for driving the team horses to Offchurch, Abby for being top plaiter and groom, and Sarah, Pip and Gary for cheering on the teams.

Pony Club Championships has been a highlight for Field House Pony Club for many years and it was an emotional week for everyone knowing that it was our last but we have made so many amazing memories over the years!

Field House is definitely THE BEST TEAM ever! ❤️
