Whilst we are working super hard behind the scenes, if you could spread the word and share this post 😊

As a SEND mum myself I have witnessed my own children feel like an outsider within social situations. Struggle to find connection with their peers, and have no one to talk to about their special interests. As a parent this broke my heart. Watching them try (often masking), then them leaving feeling exhausted, questioning their self worth and feeling they do not belong.

We are aiming to create a space for everyone, where special interests are cherished. Whether its animals, fossils, pokemon, hello kitty, history, geographical facts, F1. Everyone is encouraged to shine their own light, they will be space held for all.

We are working hard behind the scenes.

Since posting last week we have had charities, organisations and businesses reach out to us. All wanting the same out come. A sense of belonging for the SEND community.

For years we have banged the drum about how no one should feel alone. That a sense of belonging is important for an individual to thrive.

As SEND parents ourselves we too have felt that.

Our sessions will be launched early 2027. Any organisations, small businesses or charities that would like more information drop us a message 😊.

Wow!!

We are completely blown away by the positive response we received yesterday in regard to our SEND events!!

We have started a Facebook and Instagram page for our new venture (don't worry Wildling adventures are still here 😊).

💙 Calling all families within the SEND community! 💙

I’m looking to connect with families who have children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to see if there would be interest in a community-run day where we can all come together, connect, support one another and enjoy a day where everyone feels welcome. 🫶

The idea is to organise a SEND community fun day that brings families together in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment, where children can enjoy activities suited to their individual needs and families can meet others who understand their experiences. 💛

🌈 The day could include:
✨ Stalls from local businesses, SEND services and support groups
🎨 Inclusive activities suitable for different ages, abilities and needs
🎈 Fun activities and experiences for the children
🤝 Opportunities for families to meet, chat and share experiences
💙 Information, advice and support from local organisations
🌟 A welcoming space where every child and family feels included

At this stage, I’m simply trying to gauge the level of interest and find out what families would like to see included. If there is enough interest, a day will be organised with activities, stalls and facilities that take into account the different needs of our children and young people.

I would love to hear from families about what would make a day like this enjoyable, accessible and worthwhile for you and your children. Every family’s needs are different, and your ideas and suggestions would be so valuable in helping shape the day. 💕

A fantastic experience with one of our young people today!!

Feeding the otters at Sheffield Tropical Butterfly House. This place is perfect to get up close to the animals, and during the week it is quiet.

If you are looking for a place to go I can't recommend this place enough ❤️

Our role is to support through a holistic and therapeutic approach. Creating a plan in which the client feels safe and comfortable. Enabling them to make progress through sessions.
