We’ve always said we’re more than a dog brand. We’re a lifestyle, a feeling, a way of getting out there and making the most of the moments that matter. And at the heart of everything we do? You.

Your kit should always be more than just a lead or a collar. It’s the thought behind why it’s made, the care that goes into how it’s made, and all the little (and big) moments it becomes part of along the way.

When we dream up a new design, choose a pattern or create a new piece of kit, we never see it as just a piece of kit. We see the muddy miles, the mountain summits, the everyday adventures, the new beginnings and the memories you’ll make together.

The moments that might seem small at the time, but end up meaning everything.

We’re halfway there team! Just a few more days until weekend rambles and two whole days to get outside and explore.

There’s something about this time of year that makes getting out for a walk feel extra special. Crisp air, blue skies, golden leaves crunching underfoot, muddy paws, rosy cheeks and a hot drink waiting at the end.

The kind of days that remind you why you put your phone away, pull on your layers and take the long way round (and maybe spot some ffwng 📸)

The only thing we could do without? The daily fireworks 🤨 Not quite the autumn soundtrack we had in mind, especially for our sensitive angels.

Here’s to more crunchy leaf adventures, big skies and slow weekends outdoors.

We’ve been working on a highly requested item, we’ve added our own design to it and adapted the functionality so it’s what we hope to be a very useful piece of kit for you. Results are in from our rep release and so far it’s a big hit…

We love discovering old publications about walks, travel, tourist guides, the mountains and maps of the past. Every now and then, you strike gold and find a first edition tucked away at the bottom of a charity shop box. But honestly, that’s not really the point.

These little pockets of the past offer a glimpse into how our landscapes have changed, the people who walked these trails before us, and just how much the world is moving. They’re little time capsules, and we reckon they deserve more than gathering dust on a shelf.

So, we’re going to start scanning some of our finds and sharing them here from time to time. Old maps, forgotten stories, vintage illustrations and photographs that deserve a second look.

First up is The Ascent of Snowdon by E. G. Rowland, first published in 1956 by Cidron Press in Criccieth. A guide to Yr Wyddfa, the highest mountain in Cymru, it explores the mountain and its approaches, with illustrations by Welsh artist Jonah Jones.

Jones was an artist, writer and sculptor whose work often celebrated the Welsh landscape. The book also features photographs credited to Eric L. King, about whom we’ve struggled to find much information. If anyone knows more about him, we’d love to hear from you.

There’s something special about seeing familiar places through someone else’s eyes, years before we walked them ourselves.

The Sticker Pack is Back!

Our stickers have been super duper popular in the shop and we’ve been promising for a while that they’ll start to make an appearance online, well, finally we have our first pack to hit the website and it’s a welsh themed one 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

WE’RE BACK!!! 👋

After a few days away to recharge our batteries after a busy summer, our little shop is back open today, 10am until 4pm!

A huge thank you to everyone who kept us busy while we were away, too. We’ve got a whole lot of lovely online orders to make! Whilst Vern holds down the fort in the shop, I will be getting stuck into the making side of things. I’ve got a good Netflix series lined up, plenty of snacks to keep me fuelled, and a sewing machine that’s about to earn its keep.

We also did things a little differently this time and took a proper social media break, scheduling a few daily challenges to encourage you lovely lot to put your phones down and get outside. We hope you enjoyed joining in, and maybe even discovered a new favourite way to connect with nature. 🌿

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Hopefully, we’ll see some of your lovely faces in the shop today. And if you’re passing through Crickhowell, go and keep Vern company, he deserves it after doing a sterling job of driving me home from Bristol Airport at 2am following some serious delays (he also put up with about 14 consecutive games of solitaire). 😂✌️

For the final day, go outside and find five things you’d normally walk straight past.

A patch of moss. A crack in the floor. A spider web catching the light. A gathering of autumnal leaves. A bird hiding in a hedge. You don’t need to photograph them. You don’t need to share them. Just notice them. Because sometimes the best moments outside are the ones nobody else gets to see.

Five days. Five little reasons to put the phone down and look around.

Today’s walk doesn’t need a route.

Put your phone in your pocket, take a walk around your neighbourhood and see where your feet take you. Take the path you normally ignore. Turn left instead of right. Stop when something catches your eye. There doesn’t have to be a summit, a distance or a destination. Just you, the outside world and a little time to wander.

And if the dog chooses the direction, even better. See you again, at 8am tomorrow.
