A little re-introduction from me 💛🐾

Hi, I’m Emily — the face behind Crick Cats & Cuddles 🐱

I started the business because I absolutely love cats and wanted to offer a service that feels personal, reliable and genuinely caring.

I’m also a mum, so a big part of running my own little business is being able to spend as much time as I can with my daughter while still doing a job I genuinely love. 🥹

These days I’m focusing mainly on cat sitting and small pet care, which is definitely where my heart is. I love getting to know every cat’s personality — from the super cuddly ones to the shy ones who prefer to watch me from across the room 😂

I’m fully insured, feline first aid trained, and I always care for every cat as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while their owners are away.

I’m not someone who loves having my photo taken, so this is about as brave as I get 😂 but I thought it was time to pop my face on here again and say hello.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my little business — whether you’ve booked me, recommended me, shared my page or just followed along. It honestly means a lot. 💛

My diary is now open for cat sitting bookings for January and February 2027. 🐾💛

Just a little reminder that I’m now only taking bookings up to 4 months in advance, so if you’re planning a holiday, weekend away or already know you’ll need cat care at the beginning of next year, feel free to get in touch.

Going forward, I’ll be focusing solely on cat sitting and small pet care, rather than dog walking or dog drop-ins. This allows me to spend more time with my daughter while also putting all of my energy into the part of the business I love most — caring for cats. 🐱💛

If you’d like me to check dates for you, just send me your dates, postcode and number of cats/pets, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Safe to say she was very happy to see me again — and I was just as happy to see her. 💛

A little catch-up from me 🐾💛

I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently because I took some much-needed time away with my family. Me and my partner have both been so busy lately and honestly haven’t stopped, so it was really lovely to switch off, spend time with family and actually relax for a bit. 🥹

I’ve been caring for Max & Missy again, who are always so happy to see me and definitely know that visits mean plenty of fuss… and food 😂💛

Moose is still much happier admiring me from a safe distance, while Minnie prefers hiding upstairs and letting me know with a little hiss that she’d quite like me to keep my distance bless her 😂 Every cat is so different and I always let them interact on their own terms.

I’ve also been looking after the beautiful Brie, who is such a sweetheart. She absolutely loves a fuss, and I even managed to get her to jump up onto my lap for cuddles which was so lovely. 🥹🤍

It’s definitely nice to be back doing what I love. 🐾

A little change from all the cats… meet these two gorgeous bunnies 🐰🐰💛

I’m currently looking after this lovely pair and they are absolutely adorable. They’ve been enjoying their food, fresh water, a little check over and plenty of time pottering around together. 🥹

I love that Crick Cats & Cuddles isn’t just about cats — I’m always happy to help with small pets too when I can. 🐾

Lovely walk and a little drop-in with Rupert today 🐾🖤

We had a really nice 30-minute walk with plenty of sniffing and exploring, followed by a quick drop-in to get him settled back at home with his dinner and a freshly topped-up water bowl. 🥰

Such a lovely boy to spend time with — and that little face when he’s waiting for a treat gets me every time 😂🐶

A little breakthrough with beautiful Maggie tonight 🥹🖤

I’ve been looking after Maggie since Thursday and she’s been extremely shy, spending most of her time tucked away in lots of different hiding spots around the house.

This morning she started to come out of her shell a little and let me brush her and give her some treats… and then this evening we had the loveliest moment. 🥹

She came over for strokes and fuss, was purring away, and just seemed so much more relaxed with me. 🤍

These are honestly some of my favourite moments when cat sitting — earning the trust of a nervous or shy cat and seeing them slowly realise they’re safe with you. 🐾

Well done, Maggie girl. 💕

A little update from me 🐾💛

I haven’t posted quite as much recently because I’ve been looking after quite a few shy little souls who would much rather stay out of the camera’s way — which is absolutely fine by me. 🥹 Every cat is different and I’ll always let them take things at their own pace.

I’m back looking after the lovely Lily & Poppy today, and I also managed to get a little photo of gorgeous Maggie this morning relaxing on the sofa. She even accepted a few treats from me too. 🥰

Yesterday was my last day looking after Luna & Toast. Luna stayed completely hidden the whole time, bless her, and Toast only made a few little appearances — but I did manage to snap a photo of him peeking through the stairs. 😂🤍

Even when they don’t want cuddles or photos, I still love getting to know their little routines and making sure they’re happy, fed and comfortable while their owners are away. 🐱💛
