Working dogs in pet homes can it work??

it can!

If you have a working or high drive dog then you’ll know they need more a LOT more.

Finding somewhere to allow your dog to have purpose for there drive is crucial for a healthy balanced relationship.

Our academy sessions are designed to create a safe environment where you can truly see your dogs full potential, as well as build that bond these dogs are known for.

If this is something you have been looking for drop us a message to discuss further.

Huge announcement 📣

We are moving!🏡📍

We want to start by thanking everyone at Darlington Stables where we have been for the last 12 Months. Andy gave us indoor and outdoor training areas for our classes and couldn’t be anymore helpful during that time. So big thank you to

Go check out there amazing freedom field, that has just opened in Sandbach. Purpose built confidence building sections all designed, built and made on site. Very high standard!!

On to the new!

We have just taken on our very own field, 5 acres in cuddington, Cheshire.📍

What we have planned currently:
Igp training field ( floodlight ) 🔦
Assault course for high drive dogs.
Coffe truck.
Freedom fields.
Chill out areas.
Continuing to build a great community

We are going to show you every step of this amazing journey, work has already started. The car park has been scraped and is ready for stone. Fencing has arrived, so the never ending job of digging holes has begun.

We are hoping to be moving everything over for the start of the year.

Classes and 121 sessions will still be held at our training field in Sandbach until then.

This is just the start and we can’t wait to see where we end up in another 3 years.

Big thank you to everyone in the Focus family. 🧡

What a great weekend at Washington IPO club.

This weekend we headed North for the Bagsd helper licensing event and we achieved our B grade!

This has been a goal of mine for sometime now and this year I decided it was time to get it done.

It was a great weekend surrounded by some great dogs and helpers, I received great advise all weekend to help improve my overall technique, big shoutout to everyone involved in organising such a great event.

Big thank you to Caroline for trusting me with such a strong dog he was fantastic all weekend, thank you to for working him. Thank you to & .jamie for all the work over the last few month to get me ready.

Looking forward to get some trials under my belt and continue to improve in the sport of IGP.

A big step forward for Focus K9 Academy.

Our cabin is now fully sign written, giving us a dedicated space that reflects exactly what we’re building — professional training, quality facilities, and a home for our growing community. We are building something special. 🤩

From obedience and behaviour work to dog sport, the Academy continues to grow, with plenty more to come. 👀

Huge thanks to everyone who has trained with us and supported the journey so far.

This is just the beginning.

🚨 TRANSFER CONFIRMED 🚨

The academy is delighted to announce the signing of RISKY. 🧡🖤

A 12-month-old working-line German Shepherd joining us from Catello German Shepherds, Risky brings exceptional genetics, drive, and the foundations to become something special.

We’re excited to see her journey unfold both on and off the training field as she develops through obedience, tracking and protection for the dog sport igp.

She has been with us for a few months now and I believe she could be a very special dog, the connection we have already is everything I was looking for and she is an absolute pleasure to work. This is just the beginning.

Welcome to the team, Risky. 👊🐺
