Whilst Saturday was all about the local music scene… Sunday was once again all about the horsepower!

With two teams split across two event sites for clients across North Devon, it proved to be another incredibly busy — but hugely rewarding — Bank Holiday weekend for the ProsoundSW Team.

Jim Davis and Phil, alongside our technical guru Matt joined forces on Saturday to support the North Devon Atlantic Classic Scramble Club’s fantastic “Roar on the Moor” event, which saw record numbers of classic scramble bikes tackling the challenging course at North Molton, much to the delight of competitors and spectators alike.

It was an impeccably organised event held in blistering Bank Holiday sunshine, and huge thanks must go to everyone involved behind the scenes.

Special thanks also to DjStev Westy (Event Director at Apple FM) and his son Josh for all of their help throughout the day. From keeping the generator running smoothly, making sure commentator Chris Shorland remained fully fuelled with coffee, through to generally helping ensure everything ran exactly as it should — their support was genuinely appreciated.

Then, almost before the dust had settled after the final race, Steve and Josh kindly dismantled and packed away the entire system ready for collection by James & Phil. Absolute stars — thank you both once again!

We’d also like to thank Apple FM Taunton for the continued use of their outside broadcast unit whilst our second vehicle remains temporarily off the road.

Meanwhile, for James & Phil, it was another brilliant afternoon at the races supporting the legendary Bratton Down Racing event. While the going conditions were a little challenging, racegoers were treated to several fantastic races and displays throughout the afternoon.

Once again, huge thanks to everybody involved at Bratton Down Racing for continuing to place your trust in our little family-run business.

Although everyone is feeling slightly jaded after sorting equipment and packing down following another hectic weekend, a fantastic time was had by all — and we’re already looking forward to the next events coming up in the diary!

What an absolutely fantastic day at Turn the Tide Teignbridge event!

Dawlish was once again treated to an incredible community event over the Bank Holiday weekend, with glorious sunshine, fantastic entertainment, and plenty for visitors to see and do throughout the day at Dawlish College.

From craft stalls and circus skills workshops hosted by our friends at Higher Beings, through to a brilliant selection of local charities, community groups, and independent businesses, the entire event perfectly showcased the amazing spirit and support behind this wonderful local cause.

Of course, the live entertainment on the Turn the Tide stage was a huge highlight of the day, expertly managed throughout by Barry & Rachel, who kept everything running smoothly from start to finish.

The line-up this year was absolutely outstanding!

Headliners Sound of the Sirens captivated the crowd with their trademark harmonies and stunning vocal talent, while Everay and her band opened the day with an incredible set of original music and covers.

Leona Whitfield brought plenty of energy to the stage with a fantastic set, Olivia Grace wowed the lunchtime audience with a confident and polished performance, and newcomers Shakalaka delivered an infectious mix of groove and Afrobeat that had the crowd dancing in the sunshine.

Crowd favourites Wreacked Again once again proved hugely popular with their sea shanty classics, before Hendrix By Name, Willow By Nature wrapped up the entertainment in style with a brilliant blend of original music and acoustic covers.

A huge well done to everybody involved in organising, supporting, performing at, and volunteering throughout the event — these community events simply couldn’t happen without the incredible amount of hard work that goes on behind the scenes.

Special thanks go to Dawlish Town Council Events for their continued support, and huge thanks as well to Barry who, alongside our own Rachel, stepped up to provide all of the artists with a fantastic package of sound support throughout the day.

As a small family business, we genuinely couldn’t do what we do without the support of amazing people around us, and it really is hugely appreciated.

Here’s a small selection of images from a truly brilliant day — and don’t worry, there are plenty of videos still to come!

This weekend for the ProsoundSW Team has been all about horsepower — spread across 2 wheels, 3 wheels, 4 wheels, and even 4 legs!

Across the weekend, the incredible Wiscombe Hill Climb delivered some truly challenging and highly changeable conditions for the super-brave competitors taking on one of the most technical and demanding hill climbs on the motorsport circuit.

The Wiscombe Park Hillclimb now takes a well-earned break as the team, alongside the Woolbridge Motor Club, prepares to host the British Hill Climb Championship round across the weekend of 25th & 26th July 2026 — an event that will see some of the sport’s fastest drivers descend on the Devon countryside for what promises to be a truly spectacular weekend of motorsport.

Tickets are available via the official Wiscombe website: https://www.wiscombepark.co.uk/events

Meanwhile on Sunday, the team was split across two event locations, with the first of three meetings this season taking place at the legendary Bratton Down Point-to-Point Horse Racing Ground.

This particular event certainly took the team slightly outside of their normal comfort zone, however with careful planning — and some fantastic feedback from the organisers — the day passed smoothly despite some particularly challenging wind conditions. Hundreds of racegoers enjoyed an afternoon of top-quality racing at one of the most picturesque and unique sporting venues in the South West.

A huge well done to all competitors, organisers, officials, marshals, volunteers, and spectators involved across both fantastic events this weekend — your efforts are what make these events so special!

🏁 Another fantastic weekend at the incredible Wiscombe Park Hillclimb, this time featuring the amazing machines and competitors from the 500 Owners Association and the Vintage Sports-Car Club.

There were some truly stunning cars and motorcycles tackling the challenging Wiscombe course across both days, with everything from beautifully prepared vintage machinery to some wonderfully unique and historic competition vehicles taking to the hill. The weather held out for us as well, which only added to what was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the weekend. ☀️🏎️🏍️

As always, it was an absolute pleasure for us all Prosound Solutions SW Limited to support the event with wide-area public address and commentary systems, helping keep spectators connected to all the action happening along the track.

Special thanks to Jim Davis for all of his help and hard work over the weekend, it was hugely appreciated as always. Also, a massive thank you to Carmen for capturing some wonderful images and videos across both days—you really caught the atmosphere of the event perfectly.

Here’s just a small selection of moments from another cracking weekend at Wiscombe! 📸🔥
